Effective short-course treatment that works as intended
I bought the Monistat 3-day treatment for a mild yeast infection, and it cleared things up quickly without much irritation. The suppositories are easy to use with the included applicators, and the external cream helps calm itching within minutes. By the second day, most of the discomfort was gone, and everything felt noticeably better by the end of the third. It’s a convenient middle ground between the 1-day and 7-day options, not too harsh, but still effective. The only slight drawback is that the applicators (those little bullet shapes) can feel a little flimsy, so I’d handle them gently. Overall, it’s a reliable, fast-working option that does what it promises, and I’d use it again if needed.

Lifesaver product if you are in serious discomfort. However, I found I had to use it for 6 days, not 3, but that’s just my experience.

VERY GOOD AND RELIABLE PRODUCT
In the recent past, I had surgery. The incision site got infected so they blasted me with antibiotics. Of course I ended up with a severe yeast infection. Monistat knocked it out. My usage technique is to wash my hands, dry them, and then use my fingers to insert the product as far up as it will go. I believe, especially if you remain lying down and just go to sleep, that the ovule will stay where it belongs way better than the cream application does. It's less messy too. I found the external cream that comes with the product to be very soothing. I think Monistat is a very good brand. I will give you one piece of advice: If you get recurrent yeast infections that are intractable, see a gynecologist. It happened to me when I was younger, and I got diagnosed with a condition called systemic candidiasis. I had to take oral medication for that condition. This being said, I definitely recommend this product for just a regular yeast infection from antibiotics use or whatever.
