SKv2-1500.1D 1800 Watt Class D MOSFET Monoblock Subwoofer Car Amplifier

I didn’t think it would work that well since it was a lot cheaper than most on the market (like a 1/4 of the price of another one I was looking at). But let me tell ya, this thing is phenomenal I have it pushing 2- 12” alpine type r’s and with the voltage at 12 when the cars not running and at 14v this amp does amazing! Comes with the two sizes of hex wrenches but doesn’t come with a plastic screwdriver so you might get one of those so you don’t chance messing anything up by grounding out the amp when adjusting the knobs. I have it mounted on my back seat in the trunk and as it’s pushing the subs I tried to see if it gets hot and nothing, still cold to the touch, very well built. Oh also I have this on a 150 amp fuse and works fine, not sure why they would recommend a 160 amp, very uncommon and hard to find lol. I tried using the bass knob a bit and it doesn’t seem to change too much, I can change the bass level more from the factory head unit in the car. All in all great quality product. If you are looking for a great amp at a great price, make sure to get the sk quality from skar.

This amp is powerful!

I’ll start by saying I’m impressed with quality and sound per dollar. I’ve spent the last 20 years running primarily Rockford Fosgate, and kicker amps and speakers, and skar will destroy both in the same price range by a mile. I’m replacing pioneer amps this time around and this is louder and sounds better than the similarly spec pioneer rated at 1800/1200rms @1ohm x 1. Very impressed with this brand and have a VFX 12 going in for this amp with another in the future. So far only negative to skar is the fanboy status in the squatted truck community.
