Works great and seamless with SkyQ
Initially bought to extend and create a mesh network after moving away from Sky Broadband. A lot of forums discussed issues when using another ISP than Sky and it causing a lot of issues with their SkyQ boxes and having to make a lot of changes to settings including channel, frequencies and even connecting sky mini boxes via ethernet. However, the eeros have caused no such issues when using BT broadband, skyq boxes working seamlessly. No settings were changed on anything. The signal is great on all other devices, set up was extremely easy and the app allows to have a lot of insight into your network - and no more weak spots in the home. I also have the extender which works in harmony with the router. There are no drop outs when moving around zones in the home. The signal and speeds are strong providing a reliable personal mesh wifi network. The design is simple and clean. All in all, great value for money. Definitely recommend the product.

Eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi extender - Perfect internet
Eero 6 mesh Amazon eero 6 mesh Wi-Fi extender: I used this extender with my existing Eero Router and i am so impressed. To explain my set up, I live in a terraced 3 bedroom house. My router is by the front door. I have placed my Wifi Extender at the back of the house in the kitchen/dining room. My internet is now 10/10. I genuinely cannot believe how good this thing is. My garden is 100ft and i have tested a video call at the end of the garden and it has worked perfectly. I got this in a black Friday deal but would pay full price now I know how good it is. Easy set up by opening the app and adding the extender by clicking on the + button in the top right. Plug in and go. If you need a boost to your existing Eero wifi I would highly recommend this product.

Simple and effective, but lacks wired ports
The eero 6 Wi-Fi Extender was simple to set up and has provided stable broadband throughout my house. The coverage is excellent, and I’ve experienced no drops in connection since installing it. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have any wired ports for connecting devices that are not on Wi-Fi, which is a bit inconvenient if you have gadgets that require a wired connection. Overall, it's a great solution for boosting your Wi-Fi coverage, as long as you're okay with everything being wireless.

Good for Mifi
Fantastic product, started with a eero router as changed to mobile WiFi with three and the network was a bit crap, once I added eero it was so much better but still got a bit of buffering in the bedroom when streaming TV and no reception in dead spots. I added 2 more one extra router and one extender, the router in the office and the extender in the bedroom, I only live in a 1200sqft apartment so one should have been ok but found the one router alone just didn’t cover everywhere, by adding the 2 extra I have a 3 set now and so far it’s perfect not buffered once all night and my speeds have actually gone up, now I know it’s expensive but at the moment at 1/2 price it’s worth setting up your system fully. With mifi it’s relatively slow speeds anyway but eero does make the system 100% better.

Easy add-on to our network.
We already had the Eero 6 wifi in the house, but were looking for better coverage for the garage and garden. Running a ethernet cable to another hub wasn't feasible so the extender was used instead. Very easy to set up with the Eero app, and does the job perfectly.

BRILLIANT!
This extender has made a surprising difference to my wi-fi items. i live in a flat which is on the first floor, but my front door is on the ground floor, so when my Eero system was installed, i had the hub placed at the top of the stairs, because i needed the signal to reach an outdoor camera i have by the front door. Now the only thing i was a little concerned about, was that having the hub at the top of the stairs, meant it was a good 60-70ft away from my t.v in the living room, which is effectively the far end of the flat, but it seemed ok, however, after buying a new t.v with the new Freely built into it, i started to notice that every now and again, one of the channels kept freezing for a split second, then be ok, so started to wonder if it was a wifi issue. Anyway, i bit the bullet and bought this extender to put in the living room and what a difference it`s made! I`ve had no more freezing pictures on a couple of channels and by accident, i spotted that the signal strength meter for my camera had gone from one bar in orange, to three bars in green, which is weird, because the extender is further away from the camera than the main hub is, so i don`t get that one :) Anyway, great bit of kit and really pleased with it, makes a big difference to wifi strength.

Seamless whole-home coverage with excellent control
We added this eero 6 mesh extender to our existing setup, and it’s been a fantastic upgrade. It integrates effortlessly with the main router and other extenders — no fiddling, no extra app steps, just plug in and go. The biggest improvement? True seamless coverage. No more jumping between extenders or watching devices struggle to reconnect as we move around the house. One feature I especially appreciate is the control it gives me over individual devices on the network. I can easily see what’s connected, pause access, or set schedules — all from the app. It’s intuitive and responsive, which makes managing the network feel less like a chore. Range and speed have been excellent, even in previously weak spots. If you’re looking to extend coverage without sacrificing speed or stability, this fits the bill. Rock-solid performance in a sleek package.

Not fit for purpose
Yesterday I had 4 hours trying to get my eero 6 to work. Approximately 2 hours on the telephone to the customer support line. They are very frustrating with lots of combinations of: turn off the router, the ONT, delete and reinstall the app, delete all your details in the app, lots of waiting for rebooting. It was clear that no one understood how to deal with PPPoE security and how the app deals with it. Information I found on the internet of eero 6 and PPPoE was out-of-date and wrong. After 4 hours yesterday, I got up to see that I had no internet. So, another 2 1/2 hours this morning. The help provided by eero is very poor: there seems to be a strong assumption that everything will work 1st time and therefore problem solving seems to involve in: reboot, delete & reinstall etc. After a large number of tries this morning it sudden started to work and I got internet. I don't know why. I had 6gb of mobile data when I started the installation of eero 6 and I have used that up. Mobile data is crucial since the app won't work without it and without the app you can't set up the router. Had I known what this product involved I would never have purchased it. I will wait until the end of today to decide whether to return it. The experience of trying to install the eero 6 has been very stressful and I would say that it is well worth avoiding that level of stress. I have read times been asked to read out the serial number on the eero 6. The print is very small and I can't read it. My son could just about read it but he noted ambiguous symbols (O / 0 and 1 / I /l). It is a very long number to keep reading out to support staff.
