These are plastic and are very comfortable. The product is a composite of a paper peel away layer where the sticky is, the cover itself, and an outer peelable plastic cover with a split in the center of the blue stripe. Getting skin clean is an issue. Won't adhere unless prepared properly. Skin that has sagged will likely stretch away from these and come off. Stretch and Flatten the skin if you can. This is the tricky part, but is essential to the application of the cover. Once the cover is thoroughly adhered on your skin you can peel this outer layer with the blue stripe off, but there are some tips to help you. Just be certain it is very well applied to the skin first. They last for many days, at least. In order to prep the cover a couple of steps prior will help a successful application ( see pix ). The cover itself is very thin and flexible and will stick to anything. So care in application will enhance your success. Separating the harder plastic on the outside at the blue stripe will help significantly getting successful contact. Even though the two halves are cut they are stuck very well. Next, peel two of the three covers on the bottom. This allows positioning the cover precisely while not getting it stuck to your fingers. Place it as centered as you can. Rub the edges flat and ensure great contact. Now, peel the last piece of paper off and rub in place. The cover will be well adhered IF you prepared the skin properly. Now the blue stripe. If you pre-separated the outer pieces it will now be easy to peel those off. You are done.

Lucky to get it staying on for 7 days. I workout a lot so probably the sweat reduces the effectiveness of it so end up using at least two patches for one sensor 14 day period. The non stick area is not in the middle of them all so sometimes one side of the patch does not have much tape to stick on to skin, probably why it doesn't stay on for long with me.

As someone who relies on continuous glucose monitoring, I've found these 60-pack Libre sensor covers to be an absolute game-changer. The pre-cut patches are perfectly sized to fit Libre 2/3 sensors, with a thoughtfully designed hole in the center that prevents any interference with sensor readings. What really stands out is the exceptional waterproof performance - you can confidently wear these while swimming, showering, or exercising without worrying about your sensor coming loose. The medical-grade adhesive strikes an ideal balance: strong enough to keep your sensor secure for the full wear period, yet gentle on sensitive skin thanks to its latex-free composition. The patches are remarkably thin and transparent, making them nearly invisible on your skin. Application is a breeze - just clean the area around your sensor, carefully center the patch, and press down firmly. The pre-cut design eliminates any guesswork, making it quick and simple to apply properly. At around $14.99 for a 60-pack, these patches offer excellent value considering their durability and effectiveness. That's roughly 30 cents per patch, which is a small price to pay for the peace of mind knowing your expensive sensor is protected. Pros: Superior waterproof protection Nearly invisible on skin Easy to apply Excellent adhesion Great value for money Latex-free for sensitive skin If you're looking for reliable protection for your Libre sensor, these patches are absolutely worth the investment. They'll keep your sensor secure through all your daily activities while being kind to your skin.
