I've bought and used this tallow soap for over 5 years. It's naturally derived and produced. I have extremely sensitive skin and this is the only soap with no added ingredients that I can tolerate. It's made similar to any homemade soap that uses lye, which cooks off during preparation so none is left in the final product (if you're not familiar with it, research the topic so you'll understand the process). I've never experienced any harshness in any of the different batches I've received so I appreciate the consistency of always being gentle on my skin. It has a faint scent of beef tallow which I find comforting; it's not a strong or aggressive scent in any way. I've never had an issue with any of the products, with the seller, or with delivery. I'm very satisfied with this product and will continue purchasing it in the future. Highly recommended!

I'm very pleased with this soap. This soap is exactly what it is advertised, saponified tallow. For those who don't already know, saponification is a natural chemical reaction that turns fat into soap. I cannot have soap made with coconut (which provides lots of lather and is in most soaps, but you don't need all of that lather to get clean) or most other vegetable oils due to allergies and/or strong migraines, and coconut is used in chemical soaps as well! I can finally have a shower without a getting a migraine with this soap. I find it cleans my skin well but you have to take the time to rinse thoroughly. It isn't particularly drying to my skin, but I don't rely on soap to moisturize it, either. It's unscented for those of us unable to have scented soap, so of course it doesn't smell "pretty." People can be allergic or sensitive to anything, so always try new products in small areas.

I love this soap. It is so affordable. It lasts in the shower it moisturize and clean my skin without stripping it completely dry and leaving me itchy. I have been using the soap for a couple of years and I’ve recommended it to many people. I really love how gentle it is and I love that. It is fragrance free without tons of artificial additives.

This soap can be difficult to lather but that should be expected. I buy the unscented and most of the time there's hardly any smell. On occasion I get a bar that smells lightly beefy but I'm ok with that as the smell doesn't stay with you. This soap does an awesome job. I wash my hair, my beard and my body with it. A bar lasts me about 3 weeks. My skin is very sensitive and it loves it. I stopped using my dandruff shampoo. There was a period after about a month of no dandruff shampoo where I got some build up on my scalp but considered it possibly due to the transition and stuck with it. Glad I did, 3 months in no dandruff, no dry skin, my hair and beard are soft and my skin loves it. The price is high but I'll keep ordering it.

DONT HESITATE!!! BUY THIS!!!! My skin is so sensitive I can not use any face wash! I will break out and be raw, red and inflamed. This soap is the answer to my prayers!! I haven’t been able to wash my face with anything besides water in months. I went to an integrative dermatologist and she recommended beef tallow soap and a beef tallow one ingredient moisturizer. I thankfully found this soap!! She is in the process of finding a soap to carry in her office. I just got off the phone with her because this soap literally saved my skin. She is ordering it to try herself!! I moisturize my body head to toe after using it with Lady Mays tallow (unscented). Finally my skin is healing. Thank you healthy porcupine!!

All natural, non drying, hypoallergenic, &, lasts longer than regular soaps. Highly recommend for price & quality. Smells neutral. Leaves skin feeling Soft.
