Great electric bike and customer service
Great electric bike and customer service. We purchased this for our 9 year old son for Christmas. Only assembly needed was the handlebars so was very fast and easy. Battery was fully charged, the tires needed a little air. Son loves it and rides it every day. Unfortunately, he and another boy crashed into each other and the front fender broke off. Both kids are just fine. I sent an email to Hiboy customer service (on a Sunday) and Cindy got back to me that day! She requested some purchase and series number details and is sending me a new fender under warranty. Mom/Dad/Son all extremely happy with this electric dirt bike for sure!!!

Excellent electric dirtbike
We purchased the Hiboy DK1 electric dirt bike for our son, and it has exceeded all expectations. The quality and performance are outstanding — it’s sturdy, reliable, and perfectly sized for kids. The adjustable speed settings make it ideal for beginners and give parents peace of mind. Battery life is excellent, and the ride is smooth and comfortable. Our son absolutely loves it and rides it every chance he gets. It’s brought him so much joy and confidence outdoors. Highly recommend the Hiboy DK1 for anyone looking for a well-made, fun, and safe electric dirt bike for kids.

Great dirt bike!
This has been the best gift for my son (9 years old). It’s his first dirt bike, and he rides it all the time. We live in a subdivision, so it runs well on blacktop roads and sidewalks. We take on our hilly 1.5-2 miles walks and the battery lasts! We’ve been charging it once a week. It is safe and has multiple speed levels for each kids’ comfort. It is not loud like some toy cars we’ve had. I expect him to enjoy it for a couple of years! The first day he rode it, he did fall and the chain guard broke off. Customer service was top notch! They responded within 24 hours (on Christmas!) and we had a new part within a week. 100% recommend!!

Pretty solid bike
Decent price. Great quality. Long lasting battery I do regret buying it for my 6 year old I think she could have gone up a size but it was a good starter bike.

Love this!
Perfect for my son. He loves it. He is 12 and short for his age but this is great for him. Good speed and durable. Safe to ride and not too loud which is a plus! Aesthetically pleasing as well. A few screws and he was good to go. I was able to assemble the loose parts myself.

Very good
This is a really nice dirt bike for a kid. It is built pretty well. I just had to install the handlebars and put a bolt in the rear shock. Very easy to put together. I bought it for my 9 year old niece. It is a bit small for her size but she can still ride it comfortably. It is fast enough for my niece to have fun but not get hurt if she falls over (which she has already) She loves it and I'm the coolest uncle for getting it for her!

Worthy upgrade from Razor MX125 before gas bike
Discovery #1:learn to ride an ebike before a peddle bike. I got this for my son's 4th birthday. He learned to ride a bike on the Razor MX125 from a yard sale when he turned 3 and skipped the training wheels. When he tried a peddle bike for the first time, he already knew how to balance, and just took off. I highly recommend a smaller e-bike before getting a peddle bike. Discovery #2: This bike would have been too big to start with. With full suspension, this bike sits a few inches taller than the MX125. I would say 5 or 6 years old minimum if this is for your kids first bike. My 4 yo son can barely touch the ground, but was determined to ride this anyway. Discovery #3: This is better than the Razor MX125 in every way. 3 speeds: 1 slower, 2 the same, 3 twice as fast. Real Suspension/better off road. 8-10x range. Lithium battery. Variable throttle. Super bright headlight. A horn. My son loves every feature. He prefers the 2 slower speeds, the third is too fast. It's still a glorified bicycle frame with bicycle wheels, but it's much better quality than the Razor. Safety concerns: I don't like the power button. It's momentary click to turn on, hold to turn off. I would much prefer a switch that immediately turns off the bike. Be cautious of whiskey throttle from a new rider. It hasn't been an issue yet, but is still concerning. My son literally rides it every day, it's his main mode of transportation around our propery. Since it has a light, he's also taken it out every night. The light is ridiculously over powered. I was going to get a PW50 or TTR50 but I feel he's safer on this. We can trade up to the TTR later once he fully gets the variable twist throttle.

Flywheel broke within a couple days, poor customer service from Hiboy
Purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son, packaging was great and undamaged, all tools included and assembly was great. It's a nice looking bike that my son enjoyed riding. We had him riding it around our yard and unfortunately he ran over a small stick, less than finger size and it became wedged by the chain in the plastic flywheel causing it to break. Pretty disappointing that something that small would break the flywheel and I wondered maybe if it wasn't a freak accident. They do sell replacement flywheels on their website with what shows all the tools needed so I ordered it and when it arrived it was missing the socket that you need to pull the flywheel. Trying to get anywhere with their customer service is a bust, tried emailing with no response. Chatted and was told to email them and when I said I had with no response was then told that no tools were supplied with the replacement and that I should have everything from the original purchase to fix it, which is not the case. I've finally resigned to paying ANOTHER $50 to replace the entire rear wheel assembly. Cool bike, questionable quality and poor service, will make me probably hesitate purchasing another of their products.
