Great kit easy to do. People out there you will need a spot welder to weld these batteries together. See pic of the one I made from a kit here on Amazon .

all the parts are there, but this circuit board will not charge on a charger. The diagram shows a board labeled 16v-blue wire 8v-green wire 4v-yellow wire 12v-grey wire my board is labeled B4-green B2-blue B1-yellow B3-white Using the pic on the ad, B1=4v B2=8v B3=12v B4=16v However this does not work as I get no response from the charger and it works with my other batteries. Reviews indicate these are notorious for not charging, I guess I should have stayed away as I now have 10 very expensive 18650 cells that i cant recharge in this case PIC SHOWS A AMAZON BATTERY ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF A NEW AMAZON DOUBLE CHARGER [BLINKING] AND THE "KIT" BATTERY ON THE LEFT SIDE WITH NO LIGHT RESPONSE AT ALL. IF I USE MY DEWALT OEM SINGLE CHARGER IT TURNS RED THEN THE LIGHT ALSO GOES OUT **UPDATE** I HAD FULLY CHARGED AND BALANCED THE 10 CELLS, AND SO AFTER VERIFYING THE BMS WIRES WERE INDEED CORRECT, I USED THE BATTERY TO DRAIN IT A BIT, THEN UPON PLACING IN EITHER OF MY CHARGERS IT DOES ACTIVATE THE CHARGING CIRCUIT. I ASSUME IT WAS JUST SO FULL CHARGED AT BUILD THAT IT WOULD NOT ACTIVATE THE CHARGING CIRCUIT.

Served its purpose. My fat butter fingers dropped a battery and busted the case. Bought this to fix it. Dewalt internals fit it perfect, it's fits all my tools great. Now I can get back to screwing

I dropped my drill off a ladder and broke the 4ah battery casing. So I only needed the shell and spring from this kit. It was very easy to install. I deducted one star for the thin plastic material. You can see in the images the new case is lacking the support baffles that help to protect the battery when it's dropped. The battery also fits a little loose in the drill. It doesn't seem to affect it though. It's a good Value for the money. I'll just try to be more careful from now on!

Needed a little mod in the button but other than that it is a great full rebuild kit. I even swapped my stickers in. Glad to have my battery back. My battery shell had cracked and had lost the spring.

I just needed the case & it worked out great

I bought 2 kits, one didn’t come with screws but everything else worked okay.
