For the price of this pump filter it’s so so strong and powerful. The oxygen bubbles it sprays in is good. This works better than Fluvel filter I had.

Very good filter, much better than the 2 I have had before. Powerful suction keeps your tank very clean. It is quite tall however and needs to be completely submerged otherwise it does not work and becomes quite noisy. So your tank needs to be high enough and you need to make sure you keep the filter completely submerged.

It’s big and combines several layer of mesh/foam. Puts out a lot of air into the tank which saves the need for another device for this purpose. The only slight criticism I have is the suckers on the back of the filter are not sufficient to hold it in place on the side of the tank. It’s not a major problem, but I do find every morning it needs adjusting back slightly to the position I first put it. I will also say it is rather noisy, however this doesn’t bother me as the tank is not positioned anywhere in the house where it could become a nuisance. I would probably not recommend this if it was to be used in the same room where someone is sleeping (unless you like some noise in the background). Having said that I would 100% buy another if the need arises, as it is good value for the money.

I'm returning this, next to no water flow at all and zero evidence of air bubbles.

I’m not sure how much I trust this filter yet. Yes, I believe it is filtering the water with no issues. The bit I hate is that the suckers do not keep the filter on the glass and I woke up in the morning to find that the filter had slipped down to the substrate and sucked up all sand below it. It was making a hell of a noise. I now have to wedge a stone underneath it to keep it on place. The other annoying thing is that it’s very noise if not fully submerged

Excellent value just as described easy to assemble looks amazing good size and quality not cleaned yet but looks easy

It is nearly impossible to take it apart to clean the filters Is their an easy way I have used a screw driver blade and a knife blade and eventually got the sections apart This a very dangerous practice just to do an essential job The filter works well when you finally get it back together

As with a previous comment, the last filter is very hard to remove, but this can be done with a sharp electrical screwdriver or equivalent but take care. Air line is auto on max setting but on a lower setting an air pump may help. very quiet and unobtrusive in tank and filters easy to clean

Worked for a few days then died, rubbish product.

It didn't complete a month and itis already not working
