What is the CFM, wattage, and decibel level?

To help alleviate confusion, wanted to chime in here to say the answer posted to this question is outdated from an OLD model. This product has had two improvements since... one is that the fan is now running on a 24v motor, and the CFM is now measured at 205 (improved from a 12v motor at 152cfm). As for noise, I don't think the decibel rating has changed as it is still quiet. The second improvement is much more recent (Decemenr 2018) and was made to the controller unit which now includes humidity control as well as temperature.

Would it work to install this fan through the house wall so that I can bring the cool, outdoor evening air indoors without having the windows open.

I've had this idea for 20 years and just never got around to it. First, this is about 200 cfm. Is 200 cfm enough to cause a temp difference. You would think so especially when the temp outside is 64 degrees and the temp inside is 75 degrees. I had a window fan and I was trying to draw cold air from one side of the house by setting the window fan to blow air outside on the otherside of the house. It was a double fan. I had all the windows open about 4 inches. I could not cool my house down. I personally don't want to go to sleep with all the windows in my house open. This little 4inch fan my work ok in one room provided you were circulating the air correctly. Pumping air into a room creates positive pressure so you would have to vent that room to allow the air to leave that room at the same time. Two or three of these or maybe four depending on the size of the house could possibly allow one to circulate enough air to cause a significant temp change. If not then there are larger units. My plan is to use several 8 inch units placed in a central location in the attic and create vents in each room connected to the outside and then to the central fan which would exhaust to the outside or simply in the attic which is vented to the outside.

Can this fan be used to draw radon gas out of my basement if exhasted outside?

I am using this for a radon fan. The radon numbers were in the 60s before the fan. After installing it, we have dropped down to 2-7 range. I'm going to add a second one and forgot get the binders to the same area of 0-2.

Can the T4 be mounted vertically?

Yes. While the instructions don't make it very clear, you definitely can. Mine has been mounted vertically for two months and working perfectly. I use it to cool an entertainment cabinet. Plug socket US

Very good product ! But I gave 4 because they didn't offer me the opportunity to choose the plug socket (I bought an adapter from US to UK ) no problem with the voltage (100-240V).

Amazing product, and it arrives with the new Controller AI, not the one displayed in the picture, so just a heads up. It's the newer and better model and provides lots of amazing functionality, and also looks better. The fan is great at extracting air and keeping humidity low in my basement, and I love that I can check the stats on my phone and see how it has been performing. Also, being able to control it from anywhere in the world is very useful as long as you connect the controller to WiFi. Noise can be a bit loud on max airspeed, but that's expected. Anything below 7-8 is very workable. I'm setting it up as a dual system with a blast gate and splitter for humidity control, and also as an electronics fume extraction system, which is great for that purpose. Controller sticks onto magnetic surfaces so I did not need to mount it and put it on my metal garage shelving and placed the fan unit on the top shelf. It comes with very high-quality cables, and the packaging is also very well thought out; each thing is easy to find. There is endless functionality on the app, and you can customise and automate it through a variety of sensors and cases such as RH, temp, etc. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a good quality and well-made inline fan that has all the features.
