This hair dye colours my roots well. It is easy to mix, easy enough to apply to my hair myself. Although the colour does lighten slightly after about three washes I'm quite happy with that as it looks less intense. It does stay a good brown shade though. It does not smell too strong when applying. The conditioner that comes with the colour is really good as well. Good price.

I’ve used many box dyes trying a different brand each month trying to find one that didn’t leave my roots glowing orange and lengths with yellow I could tell while developing this one was working it’s magic I left it on longer then it adverised I left it on for about a 1hr 20 for the first sections and 50mins for last section it has not come out like box but a very pretty neutral toned blonde I wish I had got before and after pictures

After YEARS of searching I’ve finally found a hair dye that changes the colour of my hair! Dark-haired girlies will understand! My hair is naturally dark brown and lost count of how many times I’ve been left disappointed after using a dye as you could hardly see the colour. But not with this!! YAY! 🙌 Dye was super easy to use and didn’t stress me out like others I’ve used in the past. Developing time was only 30 minutes which is less than lots of others I’ve used. I got dye on my white dressing gown and it washed out no problem. The only tiny negative is that somehow some of the dye had gone through the gloves, not sure how, but washed off easy. And I’m so buzzing with it that still deserves 5 stars. I hope the before & after pics help other dark-haired girls choose as there wasn’t many pics when I was trying to pick one that was going to work, for a change. This will be my go to from now on and the fact that it’s vegan too is an added bonus as that’s what I choose over non-vegan dyes. Highly recommended from one very happy dark-haired gal 😉 (Please note: the 3rd photo is with sunlight shining on my hair which is why it looks lighter)

First off, the colour result is really nice. It’s a warm, rich brown with subtle golden undertones that look natural, not brassy or overly orange. I have fine-to-medium hair that was previously dyed a lighter brown, and the coverage was solid – it even hid most of my early grey strands without looking too heavy. The formula feels conditioning as you apply it, and my hair didn’t feel dry or damaged after rinsing, which is a big plus for a permanent dye. Application is straightforward too, with clear instructions and all the tools you need included in the box – perfect for at-home use. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the golden tones were a bit more prominent than I expected, especially in direct sunlight. If you’re after a more neutral dark brown, you might want to go a shade cooler. Also, the scent is quite strong (as with most hair dyes) and lingered on my hair for a day or two, which was a bit noticeable. All in all, it’s a reliable option that delivers on its promise of natural-looking colour for most hair types. Would recommend if you’re after a warm, dark golden brown – just be prepared for the slight scent and more noticeable gold flecks in bright light.

Great colour, great formula, cruelty free and a great price. Covers greys well, hair was left soft and healthy.

I'll start by saying that I've only ever used Garnier Olia for years and have been very pleased with it, so that's probably affected my view on this product. However, Olia didn't have the shade I wanted, hence my decision to try Nutrisse. First the positive. The coverage was good. I was changing my colour completely, so didn't expect it to be exactly like the box, and it wasn't. It did, though, show a purple tone that I was happy with. Grey coverage was ok. This is why I've given three rather than two stars. The negative. When I opened the first bottle I was hit by an overwhelming ammonia/bleach smell. When I mixed the colour and fixer together the resulting mixture was really thick, and it was not easy to apply with the applicator. When I rinsed the colour out my hair felt really straw-like and this wasn't improved when I used the conditioner (hair mask). Brushing my hair afterwards was difficult, and it looked in really poor condition when dry. All in all, I couldn't really recommend this product and will go back to Olia, even if I can't get the exact colour I want.

Better than salon results. I have finally found a hair colour that colours beautifully, conditions hair, leaves it shiny and not dry. And deals with grey hair even in the very light blonde 10 shades. At 55 I have tried about every hair colour there was apart from Garnier. I really hope they dont stop making this product or shade Ice Blonde, it is a beautiful colour.
