I WROTE A REVIEW COVERING THE BENEFITS OF THIS PRODUCT, "ZIWI PEAK WET CAT FOOD" UNDER MY REVIEW FOR THE ZIWI DRY "WILD SOUTH PACIFIC RECIPE" DRY CAT FOOD. I USE BOTH DAILY AND SINCE MY RESEARCH, WHICH TOOK MONTHS ON THE TOXINS APPEARING IN BOTH WET CAT FOODS AND DRY, I AM THRILLED TO FIND A SAFE, NUTRITIOUS FAMILY OF PRODUCTS I CAN USE DAILY WITHOUT BEING CONCERNED ABOUT THE TOXINS HE MIGHT BE INGESTING IN HIS FOOD. AT TEN YEARS OF AGE (and being a rescue) I CAN HONESTLY SAY HE IS THRIVING ( after literally detoxing from the food I had been giving him for the last 4 years and exhibiting serious health problems from some of the most expensive brands of food. He gets tested monthly and the results are astounding! - HE IS NOW A LEAN MACHINE, ACTIVE, AND EVEN HIS TEMPERAMENT HAS GOTTEN SWEETER, AS IF THAT IS EVEN POSSIBLE. I ATTRIBUTE A LOT OF THESE CHANGES DUE TO USING THE ZIWI FAMILY OF CAT FOODS!

The ingredients are simple, grain-free, and high in protein, which my cat seems to enjoy. It doesn't have any fillers, so I feel better about feeding it to her. While it's a bit pricier than other brands, the quality is definitely there. Overall, a solid choice for a natural cat food.

Ziwi Peak is touted as some of the best cat food on the market. Limited shipments to the U.S. means it is very pricey as well. I had to try it just once. My cats get 80% of their diet from homemade raw diet (I make it myself), but I like to extend each batch of homemade by providing "treat meals" which is basically high end canned food. What I don't like about Ziwi Peak is how dry it is. Cats have a low thirst drive. My cats rarely drink from their fountain, but all of their food has a high moisture content. It is exactly how most cats get water in the wild. They get it from the majority of their food containing water. I have to add 1-2 tablespoons of water to each 1.5-2 ounce serving of Ziwi Peak. I would prefer a more moist cat food and likely won't buy Ziwi Peak again due to the cost. It's just not worth it when there are cheaper and nearly as healthy options on the market. I may also start buying rabbit to make "treat meals". Expensive? Yes, but no more than Ziwi Peak.

First cat food that my cats don’t want. Seems like a massive premium for better food which is fine but it looks like cheap cat food and my cats seem to avoid it compared to other cheaper foods that they like more. I always give grain free and this doesn’t seem to match the quality of other companies

My cats absolutely loved trying this out, even my picky cat. I love the ingredients, quality, and smell. It gives me peace of mind they are eating good food. I wish it was more affordable but I will definitely look out for deals.

Good quality food when not old. Amazon must have a ton of these in their warehouse because the canned food has around a 3 or 4 year shelf life and I end up getting some that expire this year or next year. It would help if old ones are sent back to the vendor to be replaced with newer stock .

My cat is super picky and I've wasted so much money trying random cans of whatever I think he might be into, only to end up giving it to the dog. I was hesitant to try this because it's a little on the expensive side but the cans are large and my cat only eats a little bit so I can make one can last four days, which makes the price totally justifiable. He loves it!! Won't go near any of the other Ziwi flavors though.

First of all, I was like others voicing concerns over the change in recipe -- my kitty did not enjoy the new version of lamb and would leave some of his bowl unfinished. However, I can confidently give this new recipe 5 stars now. It did take a few weeks of serving the new food for him to come around but he has gone back to his usual gobbling up the bowl. In fact, we've discovered he has a new favorite now, the Mackerel & Lamb. The bowl is literally licked clean which he didn't even do with the old recipe. Something to keep in mind is that anyone would be hard pressed to find a better cat food than Ziwipeak. This version is actually better for cats than the old one because it has even less chemicals. I'd be shocked if someone was able to find another brand with better ingredients than Ziwipeak (if you find one though please let me know, lol). Our kitty has digestive issues and so me and my husband have done extensive research into the best food for his diet. Ziwipeak is still the best. Smells the same as before and the color change isn't really a huge deal. It's worth noting that just because your cat turns their nose up to something, doesn't mean it's bad. Cats absolutely loathe change and that is why it's recommended to gradually transition to a new food. If you are switching to the new recipe cold turkey then try to be patient. :)

This is a great product, amazing food quality. My cat seems to be on early stages of diabetes and he wants to eat human food and fights you for it, as soon as I changed his food to ZiwiPeak major change, he’s calm down and he isn’t trying to eat human food anymore. A major accomplishment.

Muy bueno. Carne pura y dura, contundente, nada de gelatina. Me ha sorprendido. Hurones con un pelaje y estado de salud envidiable, deposiciones sanas... No he encontrado alimento en lata de esta calidad. Merece la pena, sin duda.
