Three Days Strong
The tumbler was super easy to set up, the included polish was a wonderful addition although I'll need to buy more to use again. We used a gram scale to measure the amount we put inside, we followed the weight limit the instructions included and we haven't had the band break. I know a lot of people mentioned that, so we are hopeful the weight limit kept that in mind. So far so good, no leaks, no issues functioning and the rocks are coming along nicely. A good cheap tumbler. It is a little noisy but we keep it in the garage and that solves the issue! If you're looking for something to polish your stones it's a nice small size and performs great, tumblers take a long time anyway so the fact it stays together and rolls is all we need!

Update! Motor Won't Run
Update: The seller reached out and refunded my order. We purchased a new unit and all works perfectly! I recommend this product and seller. I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. Right out of the box, the motor will not spin for more than a second. There isn't enough torque to spin anything. Unfortunately the return window was very short so I am stuck with a broken unit and disappointed child. Update: after looking closer, I feel this unit was a used return and resold as new.

Not worth buying.
This review is of the un-branded rock tumbler from Zcvtbye Store. Box label seems to say DIY is the maker. 1. Size: The ads are misleading, especially the pictures. The directions that come with it say to use 125 grams of stones, which is approximately half the stones in the little bag. If you have five walnut-sized stones, you're out of luck. I thought it was a misprint, because other tumblers say to fill 1/3 to 1/2 full or more. But they really meant 125 grams. It wouldn't tumble at all until I got the rock weight down to 123 grams. About a quarter of a cup of rocks. The pictures of a handful of polished rocks must be several runs, or a different tumbler. 2. Ease of use: The barrel is well built, so no leaks, but it's really hard to open. Especially after the first time. You'll need a thin screwdriver and maybe pliers. The directions, even with pictures, don't make it clear that the rubber top fits inside the barrel like a cork, and the metal cover screws over it. 3. Noise level: All tumblers are noisy. That's a given. This one is about average. 4. Fun? Half an hour of figuring it out, 5 minutes adding grit and water, plug it in and check it daily (a messy process), for a month with multiple rinses and refills. Then, if youre lucky, you'll have a small pile of shiny rocks. Not thrilling. Bottom line: You can get probably three to five nice, small rocks per batch. Depending on where you buy grit, that can cost you fifteen to twenty dollars. You can probably buy the same stones, already polished, at a rock show or store for a dollar apiece. Of course, you don't get YOUR OWN rocks that way, but is it really worth it?

Does a good job, have another on order
I like how easy the tumbler is to use, I like it so much that I have ordered a second one. The only drawback, if you can even call it that, is the way the directions are printed, it would be much easier to deal with if each language was separate. But it’s not really a big issue because I printed them on a sheet of paper. They are not the quietest thing around, but if you put them in a remote area, like back porch you don’t even know they are running. The results are fantastic!
