Makes delicious thick and creamy yogurt
This makes a really good tasting yogurt. The probiotics are packaged well and are very active. I am able to make at least 5 batches of yogurt per packet. I have not tried beyond that because I do not want to weaken the efficacy of the strain. The yogurt seems a little more runny on the 5th batch. This product works well in a yogurt maker, it produces a very thick rich and tangy yogurt that is very pleasant on its own. I can tell a difference in my mood and my digestion. I also use L gasseri strain in conjunction with this L reuteri. I do find that it feels kind of pricey but I do get quite a few innoculations out of it. Amazon does make sure that you get the product quickly. Be sure to refrigerate it once it arrives!

Makes wonderful yogurt if you use ultra pasteurized organic half and half
First batch separated a bit but I used 2 tablespoons of the first batch to culture the second batch (36 hours at 100 degrees) and since then yogurt has been creamy and thick. I use organic ultra pasteurized half and half. I usually ferment with raw milk with this strain needs ultra pasteurized as the bacteria in raw milk will compete.

Quality ingredients
Ordered these to prepare Dr. William Davis L. Reuteri fermented dairy product (i.e. yogurt). Final product excellent. With extra straining, provided a smooth Greek-like yogurt, with this rare bacillus!

A culture thing
Make sure you use half an half not whole milk it doesn’t do as well as the half an half the starter L-reuteri along with the inulin pre an probiotic makes a great yogurt after 8 to 36 hours in a yogurt maker
