We have a garden box and originally it was just the wooden base with dirt inside. Neighborhood cats kept using my garden box as their personal litter box. After being grossed out by having to constantly scoop cat poop out of my strawberries and peppers, I bought this fencing and built a little fence 3 ft high around the box. It keeps the cats out! Also as a bonus it keeps the squirrels out too.
