It was clear after the first use that Dawn Ultra is better than other dish soaps. I do not have a dishwasher, and I hand wash everything. I had some coffee stained cups that I gave up on getting the stains out, and much to my delight the stains came right out with this product. When I cleaned the cups with bleach, the coffee stain looked like it was gone, but came back as soon as I used the cup. The bleach did not remove the film of oil that coffee left in the cups, but Dawn Ultra removed the oil film. Just one use and I am hooked. I put hot water in a cup with a few drops of Dawn Ultra and then put my silverware in it after use. At the end of the night or the next day I just rub the silverware quickly with my fingers or a cloth and rinse. They come out perfectly clean and streak free. This will be my go to dish soap from now on. I like the color of the product, and the fact it comes in a two pack. It has a nice fresh scent that is not floral or citrus.

Despite having many choices of dishwashing liquids, I have found this product to be the best for hand washing any type of dish or pan I wash. I don't have a dishwasher so everything is hand washed by me. I don't need to use a lot to get my dishes cleaned ( a few drops on scrubby and I get dishes cleaned. For my pan/pots, I will put a couple of drops in to pre-soak and then when I clean pot/pan all backed on crust comes off. I also like the fact that any grease is broken down and removed from anything I am washing plus I don't get any buildup in pipes because the grease was broken down. (I am talking about that grease film not the grease from cooking things like hamburgers, that I put into a disposable container for recycling). Dawn is the product used to rescue the animals effected by oil spills in the water. It also helps keep my hands clean. Because you don't need to use a lot to clean, it is actually more economical than bargain soaps

I didn't buy these for a long time because it is the most expensive liquid dishwasher liquid. Then I bought one to try. Let me tell you, this is so superior to all the other dishwashing liquids I will always get it. Its amazing to me how well it breaks down whatever is on the dish or pan and lets me just use a small brush to remove it. I will never use another brand again. And it also actually saves money. I use so much less of it to do the job that would require a lot more of other brands. And I have been very happy with how well it works.
