Another customer with a Costco Galanz convertible freezer/fridge with a bad fan. This fan comes to the rescue, due to the online posts I found. Easy enough to replace by removing the inside back of the fridge, removing the fan, and soldering on this fan. The wire colors are the same. Make sure the fan spins and does not hit the trim, plug back in and you are back in business. In just a few hours my freezer went from 50f to 0f. Time will tell if this fan will last. At the moment, the fan is working great, bringing the freezer back! Will update if the fan gives up the ghost. Only real upgrade I wish the fan had was having a model with the Galanz plug. This is a very DIY repair, don't be afraid to attempt it on your Galanz unit.

If you happen to have a GALANZ brand refrigerator or freezer. Model GLF11UWEA16 , that has started to make a terrible sequeling noise inside the back wall. You can fix it with this motor. ** MAKE SURE YOU UNPLUG YOUR PRODUCT BEFORE STARTING THIS REPAIR ** Now remove the old motor by pulling upper back plastic panel towards you. Now use a #2 Phillips and remove the two screws on top section of bottom panel. Remove bottom panel using same method as the upper panel. Unplug the two mini connectors on left side of the bottom panel while pulling foward. Using a flat blade screw driver separate the inner and outer bottom panel "" MAY REQUIRE A LITTLE FORCE "". Remove three philips screws securing the old motor and cut connector off with about a foot of wire. Splice old connector onto new motor harness color to color, using a good grade electrical tape or heat shrink. Secure new motor in place to bottom panel, route wire harness to outer edge of panel hole opening. Snap the two lower panels together. MAKE SURE TO RECONNECT TWO MINI CONNECTORS when reassembling bottom panel. Secure panel with two screws. Snap upper panel in place , PLUG UNIT IN, "NOTE: Motor only starts to circulate one minute after door is closed" Motor won't circulate while door is open. You can trick the door switch to circulate motor while door is open. Just place a strong magnet to the bottom middle of refrigerator body look for square indentation. GOOD LUCK....

Works for French door Samsung with fan behind freezer door. Easy to repair.

My Samsung fridge (model rf220nctasr) was making a loud humming sound when cooling and would turn off when opened which hinted towards a failing evaporator fan. This product was a perfect replace part. Found tutorials on Youtube and iFixit and replaced it within an hour.

Has been working great for the last 6 months. So far. very happy. Put in a cheap Galanz freezer that their original fan gave out after a fee months. I had to strip the plug off and just wire it in to where I took old one out.

My samsung was making a revving sound and a knocking sound like someone threw a brick inside. I tried to rule out the compressor fan and found this other fan near the condenser unit was the culprit. I realized after removing the back panel that it was missing the weather stripping on one side by the manufacturer and that's why, over time, the did not work properly. After changing this out it and adding the stripping on the other side, it worked like a dream.

the graphic "compatible Samsung Models" says it fits RH25H5611sr/aa- but it does not. I should have known by the low price compared to other online suppliers - ($179), so thats on me but worth a shot. I'm sure this works fine, but be super specific in the parts comparisions- check other sources than product listing.
