I recently bought a selection of skincare products for my teenage grandson, and this face wash was chosen to be part of his daily routine to help tackle the spots that had built up across his forehead. Like many teenagers, he was struggling with breakouts, and we were hoping to find something gentle but effective that he would actually stick to using. I’m really pleased to say this moisturiser has worked brilliantly. Within three weeks, the difference in his skin was noticeable — the redness had reduced, the breakouts were much calmer, and his overall skin texture looked smoother and healthier. He’s much more confident now, which has been lovely to see. We will definitely be reordering. If you’re looking for something effective yet simple for teenage skin, I highly recommend giving this a try!

This has worked wonderfully on my skin, the only thing to think about when using for the first time is READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. It feels quite 'strong' as it did dry my skin out but once I read the back and reduced the frequency of use to start with and built it up, it's done a great job.

Good value, simple, effective face wash. I've noticed a refinement and smoothing in skin texture and complextion. less spots. I've been told my skin looks good. I feel clean after using. Neutral scent. Suitable for men or women, or teens. In my opinion good value for money, as some facial cleaning products can be expensive.

Very effective! Blackheads have troubled me for a long time, and I used to rely on peel-off masks whenever things got too bumpy. Since I started using this, my skin has become noticeably smoother. Also, it is inexpensive. I'd definitely buy this again.

I have used this product for a while now. I feel as though it does difference as it helps my breakouts and heals my skin from the damage.

I’m 50 and have had acne and sensitive skin all my life. Menopause has cleared up my skin but I still need to be careful what I use on it. I used the ‘clear’ grapefruit / pink product for 10+ years it was gentle and excellent. Then Neutrogena changed it to ‘clear and radiant’ and took away the pink colour and the grapefruit smell (and changed the formula slightly). A shame, but still ok. This new one, ‘clear and defend’ is a disaster: 1) it’s thicker and doesn’t pump as well 2) it’s got a weird excessive foam once you actually get it on your hands. 3) most concerningly, it gave me a rash. I’d used it about six times and my face got worse (drier with a few spots) and then developed a bobbly pink rash all over. Stopped using it and the rash went away within 24 hours. Be careful! Product isn’t very safe for sensitive skin.
