I am overall happy with the product. The price is way too much but I guess it is the best one in its segment. The sound quality will drastically improve if you use ARC HDMI cable for connection rather than typical bluetooth or casting. The ARC provides the lossless audio transmission and that true meaning of atmos or 8k/4k will be lost if you connect it over wireless. So it is very important to connect with ARC cable and enjoy the clarity and immersive experience. I am connecting this with my xgimi horizon pro 4k projector and the home theatre setup is just wholesome. My movie nights are now much more fun. The review for packaging and delivery. The delivery arrived in a very horrible condition. All the packaging was torn and there were some wear and tear signs on the package when arrived. Since this was a big package and heavy one and room delivery and pickup was not available at my address so i decided to keep it anyways since it was fully functional. If amazon can work on delivery then it would be really great. We expect such expensive products to arrive us in a good shape

Got HT-A7000 with Subwoofer & connected with Sony A80K Oled TV. It works great. Though few things to note if you want good sound experience. 1) Keep voice mode on 2) Keep night mode on specially if you live in flat. 3) Keep immersive mode on. 4) Cinema sound mode works great. Though you can play with setting to check. 5) Was able to use Sony Oled as Centre channel through S connect cable which made sure all the dialogues appear to come directly from the character mouth rather than from below the TV. 6) This soundbar looks good with 65 inch or above tv size only. Mine was 65 inch so it worked. 7) Connected through earc enabled HDMI source. So all the latest features were available. Would get external speakers shortly to complete this setup. I also checked A9 sound system from Sony which was slightly better but this one felt much more traditional & went along with whole dark theme nicely.

This is the best sound bar from Sony . It was less cumbersome to fix the erc cable with my VU Tv and optimised the sound bar and voila it was ready for use. Search in netflix and other ott platforms for dolby atmos content which you can watch . I added SA SW5 and fixing it was so easy along with sound bar .hotstar now has dolby atmos content (search) and it is good . I added RS5 and this is a beast . I am watching Netflix , Prime, Hotstar and its superb . Increase the volume so that the RS join the 360° sound experience . At low volumes, the surround experience will not be clear ...increase volume and enjoy theatre experience at your home . You wont regret buying HTA7000, SW5 , RS5.

The soundbar reached me first before the subwoofer and rear speakers and it was such an amazing surround sound from this alone that I was impressed by it.. The bass is also average without subwoofer. Added with the subw and rears it's just such a nice atmos experience and even without atmos content the quality is really good. Music listening is crisp and clear. PS: on some TV the eARC will need to be enabled from the sound settings otherwise only ARC will be working. To check this just play an atmos content and click display on soundbar remote and if it displays dolby atmos then it's fine otherwise it shows LPCM even on atmos content then turn on eARC from TV sound settings.

Overall product is very good, but seller is awful and sent the product without any packaging with damage to box & front frill..Pathetic

Awesome Soundbar 🔥🔥🔥 Feel like theatre experience... If u add Sony SA-SW5 300W wireless Subwoofer along with SA-RS5(Wireless Satellite speakers) then believe me u will never going to Multiplex again...your room is enough!!! I already purchased both Soundbar HT- A7000, SUBWOOFER, AND SATELLITE SPEAKERS... Go for it guys! Make your home 'Theatre like experience 🙂 Definitely recommended to buy Sony products! Sound is amazing with rear speakers and subwoofer. But to enjoy you need to get Dolby Atmos content. 4k streaming cube / stick is a must. Hopefully HD / 360 reality content will get more common in prime music soon . Need to connect to an UPS. Other wise for every power off ,it takes a lot of time to get it working properly. Need reboot to use it quickly.

Sound is not that great and rear speakers are useless. Lot of distortion while we switch on the subwoofer. Getting electric shock from the bar and also it is taking up 1:30 mins to switch on the bar. Probaly it might be a defective unit.

Top notch soundbar, beware! It is big! Crystal clear sound, quick to connect with Bluetooth ect. Paired with Sony TV’s works seamlessly. Had Bose before and I like this bar so much more. It does need sub - I got SW3 - more than enough.

Bought as a used item. Item received in somewhat used condition packaging. However, the item itself is perfect & included all necessary paperwork and accessories. Buying used saved a chunk of change 💰 but was well worth it. Once correctly paired ( read the paperwork ) with my new Sony X90L TV via eArc, the sound is phenomenal. It’s well worth watching a few YouTube videos to help with setup & settings as there are a lot of them !! Also bought the Sony SW5 subwoofer and this makes a huge difference, especially in the low down rumble of action movies 🎥 🍿 Wall mounted, this soundbar looks great and sounds great 😊👍 Highly recommended 😁👍

I really can't tell you how much I love the sound of this speaker bar It is definitely top of the line. This is the one I've been waiting for to go with my two back speakers and my new base of the way you put all three of them together. This one was easy to set up because the instructions were clear and precise. Easy to use and the way it maps your room for the best sound experience is so excellent. I'm really glad I got this

I bought it with the sub and the two rear speaker I wouldn't recomand the two rear speaker. You barely hear any sound from them. Just the sound bar and sub is enough for the living room.
