I subscribe now to this MGO 830+ honey and I have experienced its healing properties both topically and internally - I'll tell you, at the first sign of a sore throat, letting a teaspoonful of this melt in your mouth and slide down your throat a couple times a day will often clear it up for me within 24 hrs. A friend who is a nurse was on a weekend trip with me one time and she had a sore throat. I told her to try it -- she was skeptical, but the next morning her sore throat was gone and she was 100% sold on this product. Received on time and in perfect condition, both inner and cap seals intact. Not too sweet, but most people don't buy this as a sweetener. Tastes like medicine, which is understandable with its high umf and MGO scores. Hope to alleviate gastritis with it. Viscous and crystalized consistency. Got a very good deal on Black Friday.

I have purchased this many times and have even used this to successfully treat mastitis when I normally would have to have taken an antibiotic. I took about a teaspoon full 3-4 times a day and I started getting better after a day or two. Mastitis knocks me on my backside so I was prepared to have to get antibiotics and was honestly shocked that this worked. At one time I would have been skeptical about such claims but now this is a staple in our household for many uses, including wound care. I highly recommend it. The quality has been fantastic. The taste is strong but not unpleasant. In fact, I have grown to like the taste.

Amazing flavor, creamy and delicious. Lower grade manuka honey really doesn't taste very good but this was a surprize! Only drawback--it's in a plastic bottle. I hate plastic bottles. Steen's--give us glass, especially at this price point!

I use this on my mare for her sweet-itch. (AL summers). This summer has been her worst case, and quite scary at first. Along with Dex, SMGs & Zyrtec this “UMF 20+” Manuka Honey was worth the cost. Her scratching wounds began healing overnight and three days later the sweet itch was under control. I had a daily ritual of oatmeal bath, icing legs, picking scabs and applying manuka 20+. The consistency is medium thickness and I apply with hands or 1” paint brush. Very sugary, and she gets to lick my hands when I am finished. She wears the Shires sweet-itch sheet at night. I have fans blasting in her stall. Value is worth its weight in gold. I am on my second bottle, and can now use it as a maintenance so I won’t be using up as fast. Hope this helps.

I have never had better tasting honey than Steens Manuka. I do not know what they do to set themselves apart but they are leaps and bounds above any other honeys. They make every other honey seem almost fake.
