This thing is amazing! We just moved into a new house and wanted something for my daughter. She is 2-1/2 and VERY tall for her age (almost 3 feet). One reason we chose this is because of the height clearance. Other things we love: complete visibility- we can clearly see what she is doing (or shoving in her mouth) and if there are any spiders we need to get rid of before she plays in it. Ventilation- in the summer it gets hot and being enclosed in a 4 sided house with tiny windows can get pretty sweaty, with this one you don’t have that problem and she is still being shaded from the sun. Number of Activities: there is a sand box(we put in fish gravel instead so it can be swept up and doesn’t get muddy with the water. Highly recommend), a water play compartment, a sink, a grill, and a table area. My daughter loves making us fish rock food and then taking it back to put it in the oven(grill) for further cooking. One thing I noticed while putting this together is how easy the pole system was. Everything snaps into place and once together there is no shaking or rickidyness to it AT ALL. It comes with a mesh bag to put all the toys in at the end of the day which is cool but I have noticed that the covered sand area can easily fit all the loose toys and it’s much easier to put them in there where all the bugs can’t find a new home. All in all it’s an amazing purchase and I wouldn’t hesitate to get it again even at full price!!

Great purchase!! Our toddler loves playing in the backyard with this. Easy to build, spacious inside, multiple play areas for endless fun from grilling to the water table, and a little serving area. The tent top makes for great protection from the elements outside. The plastic is sturdy and has a nice thickness, and it appealing to the eye! Really nice addition to our back yard play area.

This is a fun outdoor play area with shade and fun water table area. My only issue is that the doors don’t fit together and it leaves a large gap. I love that a wheel chair could get inside but not sure why they left the gap between the doors. It is clearly in the picture, so it was expected, but my 18 month old grandson doesn’t like opening and closing the doors like he does with all his other toy sets with doors. Also, it does have a plastic piece along the bottom of the doorway for stability that he has tripped over multiple times. I am not sure how easy it would be for a child in a wheelchair to get through on their own. I could see a child using it as a “garage” for a Cozy coupe or equivalent, but again the base of the opening would prevent a child from driving in on their own. Also, the roof cannot be easily taken on and off in the event of bad weather/storms. Hoping in a high wind situation it does not get blown around and damaged. Also, I wish the play “sink” area also had a drain, as rain water pools in there and cannot be drained like the deeper water table/sand area. Overall, it is as advertised and my grandson plays with it, but it could be so much better. For my toddler, it requires close supervision on our patio due to the trip hazard since the doors are so far apart that he can’t use them to catch himself.

Great thing to buy to over sand boxes or just to put outside or inside for toddlers and kids seems very sturdy and cool, will help keep the sun off the kids as well etc

Great 2020 Christmas present! Our younger two kids are in elementary school, and this was the perfect set for bigger kids (6&8yrs) who love to play restaurant and bakery. We plan to use it as an indoor playset during wintertime. My teenaged son & I put it together (without the canopy) in about 30 minutes. It’s a super easy install, but you do have to drill pilot holes to secure the pieces together with the provided screws. Helpful tip I would have appreciated: look at the instructions for the first four screws you will install -before- you put the first two in. You will want to make sure the second two screws don’t hit the first ones. We plan to move this to our backyard in the Spring, then install the Canopy. For now, we put adhesive felt circle pads (meant for the bottom of dining chair legs) to cover the Canopy pole holes since we don’t want any LEGO pieces going in the holes. It works beautifully. Not sure the kids have even noticed the holes yet. Great place to play and use their imagination.

- The colors are nice and vibrant, similar to a cottage almost. - Perfect playhouse size and many things to do, I suggest getting fake fruits and a basket for it so it's like their playing chef! - A little complicated because of having to line everything up and you do have to screw pieces together which it's much easier to use a drill to get it in. - It is functional, it even has a drain in the sinks so it doesn't get build up water from rain or anything and you can buy a seperate tarp for protection in weather or buy a normal trap and cut it to the size you want or need. - Build quality is nice, it looks more expensive than it is, when I seen this two years ago I knew I was going to get this for my daughter on her 3rd birthday and here it is, she is going to be ecstatic about it, having her a little surprise birthday party with other kids her age and everything else. I definitely recommend. I am also planning in the future to get a picnic table with a small canopy that Step 2 also makes so she can have little picnics and snacks outside and play.

Das Warten hat sich gelohnt: erst einmal ein stolzer Preis, aber die Qualität ist sensationell: sehr stabil, keine scharfen Kanten, einfacher Zusammenbau und bleicht auch nicht in der Sonne aus. Wir haben das Häuschen jetzt ca ein halbes Jahr und es sieht noch immer aus wie neu- obwohl es nahezu täglich bespielt wird! Mit tollem Zubehör regt es zu immer neuen Rollenspielen an! Ob Grill, Waschbecken, Tisch oder Sand- und Wasserspielbereich- ideal für die Kleinen! Und das tolle: durch das Dach braucht man sich im Sommer auch keine Sorgen wegen Sonnenbrand und Co machen! Meine Tochter ist auf den bildern ca 1m groß und 3 Jahre alt- für sie hat es die optimale Größe. Ihr 9-jährige Bruder ist zu groß- ich würde sagen, das Spielhaus ist ideal für Kinder von 2-6 Jahren.

We bought this for our daughter on Christmas. She had seen a display in the Toys-R-Us store and played with it there for a while. We could see that she absolutely loved it and decided to buy it for her. It's a little on the expensive side but totally worth it. Our daughter loves her play kitchen/barbecue. This is one of the best Step 2 products, actually.

We are so glad we bought this as it is excellent and thanks to one of the reviews we bought some toy food which the kids love when cooking on the BBQ section . The quality and price is excellent along with the speed of delivery . Item said 2-3 weeks to receive , however arrived within a week . Fantastic service and would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone

Missing parts in the product. Cannot set up the product properly! Disappointed!

Es fácil de armar, mi hijo la desarmo jugando y moviéndola así que si necesitan que no se desmonte con facilidad pueden ponerle tornillos ya que el plástico no es tan grueso, puede ser para interiores inclusive para el cuarto de juegos.
