The assembly was not difficult, columns were in one piece, bottom and top plate fixed with 4 screws each. The holes were drilled in the right place but a bit too big. The leather look is a cheap synthetic material. I filled the colums with sand, but in plastic bags because when screwed on the plate there are still small gaps at the bottom left, the sand would leak. When everything is ready, the stands look nice, but the price of almost 100€ is too high given the very simple way they are made and the small amount of wood used. 50-60€ would be more appropriate.

Easy to assemble, very sturdy stands & a great value. Bought the 15cm version & put 'em together in 5 minutes. Good solid planks & once the tube is filled with kinetic sand they are completely non-resonant. Included hardware was a nice touch as well.

Light to moderate pita to put together but once assembled they do their job for cheap. Screw holes (8 per stand) are covered by the plasticky fake leather wrap so you need to find them with your finger and puncture through it with the screws. Some unevenness in the fitment. To prevent rough, coarse, irritating leakage, I'd cut and place put some thin foam to form a gasket around both seams if you choose to fill them with sand.

Made sense to fill them with play sand. Very stable and sounded so much better than having the speakers pointing at my chest.

Good solid product, does the job.
