I got a refund for this which is great BUT, you as a buyer need to know that this scam product is terrible. Only 2 of the seeds (dill & basil) germinated. Five never germinated at all after two attempts: parsley, lavender, cilantro, sage, chives. After directions and bought grow lights for them. 3 of them (the chamomile, rosemary & thyme) had a sprig come up but they’re not the real plants, one is actually just a weed, 1 is arugula, and one is more dill. It’s all actually quite laughable. Additionally, the dried soil pucks are supposed to fill each pot, but they don’t. They only give you enough to completely fill 4-5 of the pots. I do like the little cutting scissors they include, but mine broke after three weeks 😩 This product is very bad for multiple reasons and if you really want to grow little herbs in pots you’re way better off collecting each type of seeds you want from a reliable seed company. Edited weeks later after more plants failed.

Nice products and great variety seeds, includes plastic pots-saucers are good. Not enough potting media - 4 soil discs for 10 pots, only enough to fill 1/2 of each pot. I had augment with additional soil media on my own. Instructions on box “how to grow” ok. Awesome planting guide very detailed on individual herbs included in box. Nice additive of small watering spray bottle and garden tool. Seller sent addt’l info -tips to grow via Amazon email- wish seller would have included in original box. Seller did not explain adequately why only 4 soils discs/media included.

I got this for my mother for her birthday since she loves growing her own herbs in her windowsill. This made it even easier! The kit comes with everything you need, and it's super easy to get started. Two of her herbs even started growing already.

Plants. Pretty good plants

I wanted to like this a bit more than I did. My kit arrived quickly but I could tell it had been opened before (you could tell it had been repackaged a bit haphazardly). My kit also came without the cilantro seeds. I decided to just keep it rather than go through the trouble of returning. The planters are fine - plain white plastic, but they feel sturdy enough. The dirt discs that expand when moistened were interesting … I’m still not sure what to make of them honestly. Most of my seedlings still haven’t germinated after several weeks, so I’m giving them another week or so and I may just try again with my own potting soil. If still nothing, I may have to assume the seeds are just no good. I will update this review based on what ends up happening. The little shears that come with this are cute and convenient, and I do like that they also include the little signs so you can clearly label what each planter is growing. Overall, for $30~ I’m a little let down so far, since I received an obvious return with one of the seed packets missing and so far only thyme and lavender have showed any signs of life. I do have a green thumb and have experience with growing herbs, so if I have to end up using my own soil and buying seeds from elsewhere to get this herb garden going, at that point I’ll have no means to justify spending $30 on this. Hopefully I end up wrong!
