Good quality, great taste, and fair price.
I have tried tons of different matcha powders on the market, and this is my favorite one. It is a small can, but when I use the recommended amount daily it lasts me around a month. Since I can get it through amazon within a day or two that’s no problem. For those coming here because you know and love Emma and her coffee brand but have never tried matcha, keep an open mind. I see a lot of bad reviews saying it tastes bad and the price is steep, and I assume these are people who don’t know much anything about matcha and are used to the Starbucks matcha powder that’s 90% sugar. This is pure 100% matcha powder made in Japan. So it does cost a bit more because it’s premium. Do not compare this to her other matcha powders that are flavored, because this has no sweeteners. It’s an earthy taste that not many will like so just whip out the milk and sweetener and be prepared. It’s not right to write a bad review because you don’t like matcha. The product is great and just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it bad! Great job Emma, please keep making this quality matcha. In the future it would be wonderful to have a larger version for those of us who make it daily.

Best Matcha I’ve Ever Had!
I am absolutely in love with this matcha! The quality is top-notch—so smooth, vibrant, and packed with that rich umami flavor you expect from a high-grade ceremonial matcha. It whisks beautifully, creating a frothy, velvety texture, whether I’m making it hot or iced. The taste is slightly sweet, earthy, and never bitter, which tells me it’s a high-quality, organic blend. I’ve tried several matcha brands before, but this one stands out. I love how versatile it is—I use it for lattes, smoothies, and even baking. Plus, the packaging is super cute and keeps the matcha fresh! If you’re looking for a matcha that delivers both in taste and quality, this is it. Highly recommend—definitely worth every penny! Will be repurchasing again and again.

Cafe Level Matcha, Sample Size Tin 💚🫐
I’ve tried a good amount of matcha over the years and this one surprised me in a good way. The flavor is bright, smooth, and has that clean green tea taste you want from ceremonial grade. It blends really well too. I made a blueberry matcha with blueberry cold foam 💚🫐 Just a heads up though, it is not sweetened, so you’ll want to add a syrup or a little honey unless you prefer your matcha completely plain 🍯 The part that caught me off guard was the size. The listing says 1.06 oz but it really hits you when you see it in person. I put it next to a regular 16.9 ounce water bottle for scale and the tin looks tiny 😅 For thirty dollars, I expected a bit more. I kinda wish they mentioned how small it feels in hand, because it will matter if you drink matcha often. My only annoyance was the sticker placed right over part of the ingredient list. It doesn’t affect the product itself but it makes the packaging feel rushed, and it’s something people like to read before buying 📦 It’s just funny because I tried peeling it and the whole thing fought me. Flavor wise, no complaints at all. It’s fresh, vibrant, and definitely better than grocery store matcha. Price and packaging are what brought it down to four stars for me. Overall, delicious and great for homemade drink, just a very mini tin 🍵✨

Nice tea for Matcha tea making set but way overpriced.
This tea was loved by my granddaughter to go with the Matcha tea making set I bought her for Christmas. It is very overpriced, I think tho.

Perfect Cup
I can’t get enough of this matcha. It is so delicate and delectable. I use 1/2 tsp in the morning in almond milk, plus 1/2 tsp in my overnight oats, topped with frozen blueberries in the morning. I am quite prone to nausea, and used a full tsp and had quite a tummy ache, but this happens with all brands of matcha. It was just so tasty that I wanted to enjoy more. If you have nausea, start with 1/2 tsp and separate the doses. It mixes easily into warm water and blends so nicely with vanilla almond milk. I love the earthy flavor, and enjoying a relaxing yet invigorating cup of tea.

Awful matcha- do not buy.
If I could leave 0 stars I would, after opening the containers seal the chemical smell was overwhelming, I couldn’t tell if it was from the packaging or the matcha itself but I refuse to try something that smells like chemicals. I have never had this issue with any of my other matcha brands. Then since it was opened it was not eligible for return; DO NOT RECOMMEND! What a waste of money.

Doesn't feel high quality
I ordered this previously and liked the taste and the color but this time I ordered it seems like the matcha has oxidized so it is bitter, the quality doesn't seem as good and the color is just way off. It feels like it's been packaged for a while or something because it doesn't feel like fresh leaves. I am very disappointed.
