My hot tub spit out all kinds of mold and gunk after sitting for 6 months after filling back up and turning on the pumps. I used this stuff as directed, and it took a while to clean all the crap off the hot tub after draining. It is gummy and you do have to clean it all out after draining. But I did that, filled it back up, and turned on the pumps. Perfectly clear clean water came out and I was thrilled. I definitely recommend this product.

Our hot tub sat empty for a year after moving it to the new house. I put off getting it up and running until I had all the electrical finished for the spa, shop and the rest of our outdoor wiring so that I could plan it all out and do it all at the same time. I got this jet line cleaner and filled the tub with water after rinsing off the heavy dirt and leaves from it sitting for the last year. Once filled I put the jet line cleaner in and turned on the jets you could instantly see the dirt and debris that gotten into the lines during the down time. 2 days of running the jets on the normal filtration program the water is crystal clear. Now time to drain one last time to clean the shell and filters then we are going to be ready to use our hot tub again. This product works incredibly well and I highly recommend it especially if your tub has been sitting unused for any amount of time.
