Neat & Tidy Cottage Homestyle Edition

My niece turned two this year and some friends and I went in on this playhouse for her birthday. Since it's plastic, we figured it would survive the elements and whatever a toddler did to it. It was relatively easy to put together. A friend and I assembled it in about an hour (even with a 2 year old "helper"). It does take two people since someone has to put pressure on the pieces while they are being screwed in so they align. And there are no pilot holes for the screws so while technically this could all be done with a manual screwdriver, my advice is to use a drill to make pilot holes first or at least use an electric screwdriver to drive the screws in and then tighten them up with a manual. Be warned that you attach the screws from inside the house. Luckily, I'm a pretty small guy and was able to sit inside to do the screws but even for me there was a lot of bending and awkward contortions. Everything came together pretty nicely and it looks great. The doorbell works but you will need to supply batteries. A set of stickers come with the house so you add the "fire" in the fireplace, the clock, a painting and the house address with those. The "front" door is a half door that swings out and there are some shutters that open and close. A nice feature is the floor has channels built in to help with water drainage. My niece absolutely adores the house. She loves to sit in it and talk on the toy phone that came with house. She pretends to cook and loves to go in and out and climb through all the windows. I'm guessing she will get years of enjoyment out of it and it's sturdy enough that it will probably get passed on to another kid when she outgrows it.

Everything was just as it should be it's a good size for a 3-year-old nothing broken.

Our granddaughter loves her house. It's absolutely adorable and sturdy as well. Happy that it comes with a floor.

My daughter loves it. I like how it has a floor. There were some details i wish were different like the sink is too tiny, somewhere to put the phone it comes with, another wall so its not as open. And the seat not as narrow. A simple detail as being able to turn the knob for the tiny sink would’ve been nice. my husband used a youtube video to build it with the screws so wasn’t too bad to build. I added fake flowers with a base such a cute addition . Love the doorbell and fireplace sticker

Purchased this for my grandson and he loves it. Put it in his playroom for anytime fun! It was easy to assemble and is super sturdy! Door functions great even after lots of slamming from a toddler.

We bought this for the last birthday. They also received a small car with pedals. They were way more interested in this than the car. Every kid at the party gathered in this cottage to play for the entire day.
