Everything has such a marvelous taste by using hardwood lump charcoal

I use my outdoor grill every week. Grocery store charcoal usually burns fast and leaves lots of ash - not a good investment. I bought a 10 lb bag of Mr Bar-b-Que / finally! Hot, long burning and much less ash. I bought a 20 lb bag!

Burns very well, though, does take a minute to activate. So it’s not the best for brand new grills without a bed in them to retain heat

The chunks are too small for smokers, will be good for grilling probably Edit: AMAZING CUSTOMER SUPPORT, they solved my problem quickly, changed to five stars, highly recommended

This is very nice lump charcoal----lit and burned well. It is 2x more expensive than other vendors.

For supposed lump charcoal the pieces are tiny. Think what’s at the bottom of the bag of a good lump charcoal. And then! The “Natural Firestarters” they send along and claim are good for starting a cooking fire is Pine. Pine. Seriously. Acrid and shouldn’t be burning anywhere near food. Stay away.

Burns fine it’s fairly clean. The pieces were all very small no mix of sizes so it burns up too quickly.
