This was easy to assemble and works well. The pump is a bit loud, but considering the room it is in it doesn't make a difference to me. It's not loud enough to hear in the open room next to it. I'm using it mostly for my Aerogarden plants that need to be moved, especially lettuce and greens. The Aerogarden pods fit perfectly. It is too shallow for large plants like peppers or tomatoes, but perfect for most herbs and salad greens. Definitely worth the cost. Others are smaller and more expensive. I will be buying another.

Works great for me, not sure what everyone is doing wrong. If you don't put enough water to submerge your seeds then it won't work. The pump is just ok, nothing great. I'm not sure why someone rated it bad for being made out of PP5. PP5 and UPVC are both non leaching plastics. UPVC is obviously better but not required. This is the cheapest one and there are definitely better ones, but this works great for the price!

very small container great for flowers but that is about it.

I would’ve given this item more stars but the air pump is so loud that I have tried numerous ways to make it quiet but nothing works except not turning it on. Try having to listen to that noise all day.

I like this set up because it's perfect for beginners. I've grown quite a few things in these but wish the air pump was a bit stronger.

My only complaint about these sets is that the white sponges grow algae so bad, and the little plants struggle to grow. I threw the sponges away and replanted using rockwool cones and seeding directly. Also, the water level thing is kinda dumb, considering how simple it is to lift the lid (it just sits on top - doesn't attach) and see your water level, and to add water. Once the plants reach a certain size, I imagine water will need to be added daily. The box itself is great, and I've bought four of them. Very nice for lettuces, spinach, cilantro and microgreens - nice size, too.

I'm happy with this purchase, in despite of the pump being somewhat loud, although is nothing unbearable and totally fixable with a different pump or a strategic positioning to buffer the trepidation noise. In fact I like it so much I bought 2 more!
