Amazing product! I bought this for my mother who is on blood thinners and she has used it several times. For her, the slightest scratch can cause her to bleed without being able to stop it. This product does what it says and stops the bleeding for her every time. You can cut it to size easily and it has just the right amount of stickiness to stay in place but still be removable. It is easy for my elderly mother to use on her own and is definitely worth the money.

Works fast and very good quality. Packets are large size so good for big and small wounds. A must for keeping on hand for family members on blood thinners.

This is amazing stuff! I watched a friend use it after a very bloody injury, and the blood stopped quickly. I decided I needed some of this. I bought a big enough box that I now have some in my hiking bag, each of the vehicles, plus a few more at home and in my workshop. I hope I never need them, but I know they will work if I do use them.

I was a sceptic, but it works great. I sliced my thumb open when a glass that I was holding broke. Of course, it was Thanksgiving day. Options were a hospital emergency room ($$$) or nothing. I couldn't get the bleeding to stop. I was getting ready to bite the bullet and go to the emergency room when I remember that I had bought this product several months ago and threw it in the trunk of my car. The cut was bad enough that I didn't sprinkle the product on my thumb, but instead, I opened the bag and stuck my thumb in the pouch and then just held the pouch tight around my thumb. The bleeding was completely stopped in a couple of minutes. Just leave the Bleed Stop in the wound. It does not stop it from healing. I washed off the excess the next day. No doubt my thumb needed stitches, but not at what an emergency room would cost. Great product and preforms exactly as advertised. Definitely a must have in any first aid kit and especially when hiking.

However, being that Amazon is environmentally-conscious, and likely due to unanimous feedback, they now take much greater care so as to prevent this. * Unlike styptic pencils, other brands and older variations, BleedStop does not sting! * It works very well for nosebleeds (dab powder directly on the broken vessel with finger, if possible) Although, BleedStop also comes in strips, specifically for this purpose * It has a very impressive expiry date! I purchased a box in December 2024 and its expiry date is August 2030 (I doubt it gets better than this) * It is FDA cleared as a hemostatic powder and is approved for moderate to severe bleeding, including nosebleeds. It is also cleared as safe to leave in the wound and for use by those on blood thinners, or who experience prolonged bleeding * It states that it's non-cauterizing, non-stinging, hypoallergenic, and safe to use on children and sensitive areas * It is made from a proprietary, plant-based formula to accelerate clot formation Caveat: It is not approved for severe arterial bleeding, therefore; in cases as these, it's essential to seek emergency medical care by either calling 911 or attending an ER, immediately! * It's easy to use.... just pour powder on the wound, cover with a gauze dressing or bandage and apply firm pressure * This product is well worth having in your first-aid kit. You never know ... when keeping one or two of these large pouches in your car, purse and/or camping gear, it could potentially save a life. * It is used in both hospitals and by paramedics I can't imagine ever regretting the purchase of this product; especially at the excellent price Amazon offered it, during one of its sales. I wish I knew of it sooner.

This stuff is great, folks. Non stinging. Very effective. I bought a box about a yr ago. Gone thru 3 packs for various injuries on the jobsite and trail. Gave my dad who is on blood thinners one pack just in case. I had to go to emerg for stitches for one laceration and they were pleased with the use of the powder and the packaging of the wound. Always nice to NOT get scolded by the ER docs.

I had to use this today Someone punctured the back of their wrist and cut a vein, bleeding was rapid and pooling. This product has an extremely abundant amount of powder per pack, enough for multiple small lacerations of a large wound. in my case it it was a small, but deep puncturing wound. Multiple passes with the powder with pressure sealed the wound in under a minute. I never thought I would have to use this, I'm thankful I had it. More-so this is an amazing tool under pressure. I had little time to assess the wound. So I defaulted to a tourniquet to slow the flow, and this powder and basic pressure. (Just remember to apply pressure, I was panicking and forgot to apply pressure to the powdered wound, and wasted far more time then was necessary)
