Very comfortable. It relieves the pain like magic. My only wish is that it would be waterproof. I have pain in my thumb to my wrist when I do a lot of housework. Wearing this, supports my hand properly and eases the pain drastically. Just not able to wash the dishes with it. Lol

This item works great. It's a perfect fit for my hand and it supports my thumb very well. I hyperextended my thumb and it hurts anytime I try to hold something (like holding a glass of water) but this thing keeps it positioned in a way that I'm able to still grab the glass effectively and it doesn't cause me pain.

I am female but have large hands and long fingers. The thumb sleeve comes to first knuckle on my thumb! It is very comfortable, doesn’t necessarily restrict movement but does support my thumb which decreases my arthriticpain. If you have small hands you may want to consider a smaller fit!

Good fit, just enough support to immobilize the sprained thumb without being uncomfortable to wear. Can still hit the space bar on the keyboard with the tip of my thumb.

it is very good device to help me with my thumb's problem after 30+ years lab. tech repetitive work. it is very protective while I am doing weight bar work out and biking. I now need a pair of light weight one for daily use while not work out. I will be all set after that.

I waffled between three and four stars. It does what it's supposed to do in terms of immobilizing the thumb. The two big cons: (1) It's not holding up well. It's got fuzzy bits all over the edges as they fray and (2) it started getting very uncomfortable and actually causing pain over lengthy wearing. I had to keep my thumb splinted for a few weeks, and it started rubbing my wrist raw and I had to start taking it off to get relief. At the same time, my thumb would be okay for a bit after removing the splint but would quickly flare up in pain again, demonstrating how well it was working to keep the pain at bay. Be forewarned you may need to wrap something around your wrist if wearing long term to protect against friction. Same thing with the little loop of fabric that your thumb goes in - it bunches up over time and starts cutting into the hand.

Absolutely comfortable and gives my wrist complete pain relief from my de quervains tendonitis. Keeps the thumb and wrist stable. Can even sleep with it on!

great help stabilizing my thumb due to De Quervain's tenosynovitis. easy to put on, comfortable for all day wear, and somewhat helped with pain relief and keeping my thumb/wrist stable. fit perfectly, and easy to adjust.
