I got this press for Memorial Day weekend smash burgers and it did a fantastic job! I used it along with parchment paper and was pleased with the results. Very sturdy and strong enough to take the weight I gave it to press on the burgers. Easy to clean. If you need something to like this for your smash burgers, I recommend this tool!

Perfect size and weight for making smash burgers on the blackstone. Quality metal and as long as you use a piece of parchment paper when smashing there is little to no mess nor sticking.

We make smash burgers once a week. Well my partner does. He had a cast iron one but cleaning it was a process and a pain. This is great. It's nice and heavy and so sturdy. It is so easy to clean. Goodbye cast iron.

Bought this for my griddle/smash burgers. Well made for what it is but a few issues before use. Unlike the product photo, the rivets holding the handle shows through on the belly of the press. Not an issue but food particles can remain on the weld spots so need to be mindful when cleaning. The edges of the steel are sharp. Need to take some 220-grit sandpaper to ease the edges of the circle pad and handle supports. Aside from those things, the handle is welded nicely to the supports and it feels sturdy overall. Looking forward to using it but had to knock off a star for the fabrication issues. UPDATE (10.18.2022): Used the press extensively for smash burgers and it worked very well. I used parchment paper between the press and the beef balls when smashing and have no sticking issues. Item smashes the burger progressively and evenly without sliding around on my griddle. Large diameter handle provides confident grip/hold during pressing action. Cleans up easily with warm water and dish soap. Still keeping it at 4-stars due to the aforementioned fabrication issues (sharp edges), but certainly happy with its performance and functionality. Would buy again. Happy smashing!

Right tool for the task. My husband prefers a Smashburger and this does a good job.. I make a lot of turkey burgers during the week so it’s worth having. I don’t know if I would buy it if I rarely made burgers. It’s dishwasher, safe and good quality.

The product is it very sturdy and adorable 6 in diameter is perfect for smash burgers and pushing down another items on the grill. Stainless steel makes it easier for clean up.

Amazing little tool for making smashed beef patties. The solid stainless steel design gives a really good, even press and helps create those crispy, caramelised edges you want in a proper smash burger. It’s comfortable to use, feels very well made and sturdy when pressing down super hard, and is very easy to clean afterwards. We use it regularly and it does exactly what it’s meant to do. Highly recommend if you enjoy making burgers at home.

Nice product. Quality is great. I recommend putting parchment paper on the meat before smashing as some of the meat sticks to the smasher.

Cleanup is quick, just a wipe down or a rinse if you’re using parchment paper. Great quality for the price, and way easier than using a spatula.
