I feel the tracks could be more solid. They seem to bend too easily...unlike the vintage tracks. But the track is otherwise a lot of fun. The cars fall off a bit too much and I feel it has to do with the tracks bending easily. But it provided hours of entertainment. I also bought some extra cars and the boys had a great time...a lot of giggles and big smiles came my way. I love that the most.

The first one I received had a manufacturer defect but the second one I bought was spot on. The first one was subject to the flaws other reviews mentioned, cars not staying on the track and the cars not making it around. this was due to the piece with the Goomba, he was turned backwards which did not let the piece sit right on the floor. When I purchased the 2nd one, it was good and the cars zip around very nice and my son loves it! Top heavy cars, like King Boo and Toad don't work well because their heads are too big and heavy. When the batteries start to fade (usually about a good 3-4 weeks of good use like 3 hours a day), the booster won't send them around as fast as they should but when you put in fresh batteries, everything is right. I need to figure out how to mod it to have a plug in 9V supply instead of using batteries.

Looks amazing. Functionality is horrible. Cars "may" make it once around the track. Cars are constantly falling off the track. 2 complete laps without falling off the track is nonexistent.
