These lights have worked great for us in two areas in our backyard. One strand is set up on a timer through the included app, and has also been set up in Alexa. The other is only on Alexa, and though I had trouble with the first motor on our second purchase, their customer service was unbelievably accommodating, and they were happy to send me a replacement outside of Amazon’s return process. In fact, as soon as you purchase a strand of lights, the manufacturer sends you an email to see if you are happy with the product and if you need assistance with the setup. The lights have worked perfectly aside from that, and have made controlling the backyard scene so much easier. This product has both on/off and dimming functions, and the timer on one of our strands actually dims at a certain time as part of one of our settings. So the customizable features are better than you’d expect. The ease of use, available features, and amazing customer service is why I’ll continue to buy this product as I build upon the lit areas in our backyard :)

These lights are beautiful, I especially love the minimal design and dimmability. They were very easy to hang and connect to wi-fi. A couple bulbs stopped working in the first few months, but XMcosy customer support responded right away and immediately sent more replacement bulbs.

I've strung these lights both over our back patio and threaded them through trees in our backyard, They're beautiful and solid, and the set up was incredibly easy. The XMCosy app is very simple and intuitive. The lights showed up immediately and -- most importantly -- linked with Alexa unit more easily than any other device I've used. Within a matter a minutes, the setup was complete and with one command to Alexa I could have everything beautifully lit. Unfortunately, a year later, following a severe storm, the patio lights stopped responding. After an unsuccessful attempt to resurrect the lights -- and not expecting much -- I emailed XMCosy Customer Service to ask if they could suggest a fix. To my surprise, they responded within just a few hours (Just incredible, right?), identifying the problem as the controller. Even better, they offered to send a new one -- despite my being long beyond the warranty period. Then -- even more amazingly -- within just three days I received not only a new controller, but a whole new 72-foot set of lights!! What unbelievable customer service! What more could anyone possible expect? Both the product and these guys are just great!

Absolutely LOVE these lights! ✨ The XMcosy G40 String Lights made my patio look magical. Super easy to hang, give off a warm cozy glow, and feel very durable. Perfect for family nights, parties, or just relaxing evenings. Definitely value for money Highly recommend — they shine beautifully and make any space feel special!

The light are amazing. Hooks make it easy to clip to fence. Bright. Plastic bulbs do not afraid of glass breaking around the pool. But…… the app to use these from your phone felt super sketchy. So I didn’t install it. Just plugged into a regular outdoor timer box to come on daily at dusk for a number of hours. Otherwise would be a 5

I bought and installed the 150-foot “G40” patio lights from XMcosy. Having 75 lights over a 150-foot line of wire means the bulbs are 24-inches apart. Most of the lights I have strung in the past were spaced at one foot, but this just changes how you hang them. The string has a good long lead from the plug, so it is easy to situate the start of your light run in various scenarios. You should give some consideration to where you situate the “brains” of the light string, as it has to communicate with your 2.4Ghz wi-fi connection. Best to keep everything relatively close and not situated behind thick stone walls. My bulbs got quite a bit of clanking around as they were installed, but these bulbs seem indestructible and held up just fine. I used small threaded hooks into my patio beams to string the lights. This set can be controlled by your smart speaker or by an app on your phone. It’s fun to simply ask “Alexa, turn on the patio lights at 20 percent” and they come on almost immediately. I’m no techie but I believe the smart speaker operates on wi-fi, while the phone app is using Bluetooth. The download of the app and setting up the communication between the smart speakers/phone/lights was pretty straight-forward, but admittedly, I did have to remove the program from my phone and redownload a few times before I got all my settings right. The G40 lights also can be controlled by the phone app to come on and turn off at certain times. So for example, you can have your lights come on at 9pm every day (or select specific days) and then turn off at 1am (or whatever time you choose). The program will even send you a text to your phone to let you know that the requested timed function was completed. Aside from the physical product, I can tell you that XMcosy is the top of the line in product quality and customer support. This is my fifth outdoor lighting purchase from them, and I continue to be pleased with the quality of their products, their helpfulness by email after the purchase, and their willingness to provide replacements should something have flaws.

Just installed. This is my 3rd set of lights from XMcosy and I am extremely pleased. They send 3 extra bulbs in the package in case any lights go out. So far everything has been flawless. I also had a question and their customer service is very responsive if you have an issue. Controlling the lights via the xMCosy app works great. Probably will be buying more for the other side of my backyard fence.
