It's a great little fire pit grill
I got this for my screened in porch coffee table. I wanted to be able to have a fire that smelled like wood, and not those little gas ones that are for tabletop. I bought the small seven inch size. It came well packaged and in a canvas carrying bag which was inside a box. It was very easy to assemble all the pieces worked perfectly and I had a nice little fire and it smelled like wood. I washed it and dried it like they said it's in the directions, but the stainless steel stays tarnished once it's heated up, which other reviews have stated. Because this is on a wood coffee table, which is on a wood porch. I bought a fire retardant mat to protect the wood. I also bought a small home fire extinguisher in case things got out of hand. But, no big issues; it was beautiful. The only thing I noticed is that the grill top warped a little bit from the heat. I tried to show it in the picture but I don't know if it came out very well. Not a big deal, but I don't know if it will get worse with use. I've only used it once. I enjoyed everything. I would definitely get this again. I paid just under $35. If my husband and I start camping again, I might even get the large one. We have large portable fire pits already, but this compacts, and it is much easier to carry around. The coffee mug is a ten ounce mug just to show you the size of the grill. As a side note, I somehow mysteriously lost the insert with holes. I have reached out to the company to see if you can buy replacement parts. I will update this when there isnew information

Awesome and compact
I love this grill/firepit thing so much!!!!!!!!!! It is sturdy, holds a lot of firewood, and is super easy to clean and store. The canvas bag it came in is super nice. I got this because I wanted a firepit that I could fold up easily and store. After using it, I sprayed it down, wiped off excess ash, dried it, and folded it up into the bag. It’s perfect. It definitely works great as a firepit!! The ash catcher works really well and will be awesome for beach camping.

More pros than cons
I bought this grill for a recent camping trip, and for possible future use on backpacking trips. That is why I chose the smallest size. And the size was perfect. The tiny little grill is roughly 6“ x 6“. It’s perfect for cooking two hamburgers, a pork chop, or maybe three or four hotdogs. I had planned to try making oatmeal on this grill, but both of the mornings that I planned to do that, it rained, so I ended up not cooking. Therefore, I still don’t know whether it will boil water or not. Because the grill is so tiny, the receptacle which holds the charcoal or wood is also very tiny and also gets narrow at the bottom. So I’m not sure you could put enough fuel in it so that it would get hot enough and stay hot enough to boil water. It certainly could, but I don’t know for sure. In spite of being so tiny, this grill is really quite heavy for its size. That is good, because that means it is nice and sturdy, but on the other hand, I don’t think it’s something I would take backpacking, when I have to carry it all day. Camping at a campground, where everything is carried there in a car, would be fine. So, the materials are sturdy. The base is made of very heavy, well it looks like wire, but it’s far too heavy to call it . there are several pieces which need to be unfolded and assembled in order to set up the grill. The instructions are clear, and set up is easy. However, because everything folds to create a nice small size for packing up, I kept feeling like, if I needed to move the grill once it was set up, but there was some danger of it folding up a bit. I was very careful putting on and removing the grill section, to be sure that I didn’t bump anything out of place. I didn’t, the grill stayed properly assembled, but that is the one change that I would make - the base at least needs to lock in some fashion so that the grill could be picked up and moved if need be without worrying that the base might fold up and drop hot coals where they don’t belong. I move the grill a little bit after it was all set up and with the charcoal in it. It was a very windy day, and the matches kept blowing out before the charcoal could light. so I picked up the whole thing and set it inside the back of my van, lit it, and immediately moved it back outside onto my little table. It worked fine, but as I said, I felt like I had to be extremely careful. So, the pros are that this grill is exactly as described, very small and very compact. It folds up into a small carrying case and all the component parts are very sturdy and well-made. The grill works as described. The cons are that the base does not lock into place and although the way the parts fit together does hold the grill in place reasonably well, it feels as if it could shift out of position if care is not taken. And the grill is quite heavy, so it might not be the best choice for a backpacking trip, although it is a nice little grill for cooking small meals when camping. If you were thinking of purchasing this grill, read the measurements and description carefully so that you understand how tiny it really is. It was perfect for cooking for one person, and I am happy with it for the purpose that I planned to use it for.

Awesome
I have yet to actually use it but I didn't put it together as test and it is very sturdy and has a good design. Set up only took about 20-30 seconds and was very easy. I have no concerns about it actually holding up during actual use. The grill rack kind of latches into place too which is nice so you don't have to worry about it sliding around everywhere. Although I found it only does that well on the higher setting. Which honestly one inch of height doesn't make much of of a difference so that's I will only cook on the higher setting anyways just for it not to slide around. The bag it comes in is also very sturdy and thick and well made. Very pleased and very excited to go out camping and use it. Definitely wide and deep enough to fit a couple standard quartered logs in it too, at least the one I bought which was the 19" one I think

Cute and well worth the price, but not necessarily practical
Dinky but adorable, very portable and fun to use! Holds about 7-8 pucks of charcoal before hitting the top and need to make sure the ash stays clear so air can come up from the bottom. Great value for the price. Well made and quite sturdy. Would look at the larger sizes than the mini unless you want 1 burger at a time!

Light and packs up fast.
It’s light and folds up pretty flat, but here is the beauty of it. It cools off really quickly when you are done. I don’t put any wood in it bigger than my wrist and wouldn’t recommend anything larger, but after over a dozen fires and letting it cool off it shows no signs of warping.

Just received it, not used yet. But what I received was beyond what I expected. Million times better than UCO bbq fire pit (it is worthless in comparison to this in design, quality material, construction, safety measures and above all usage/practicality). This is what I received, far greater than what is described. *Support legs were constructed not using pipes but 5mm thick (yes 5mm) SS rods. Smooth folding in well constructed hinges (no play at all, and no sharp edges too) *Ash tray is heavy cannot measure the thickness due to edges were folded for safety, can say thick steel with 3mm thick handles. It is also large and deep enough to capture ash as much as burnt out charcoal. 20cmx20cm (almost 8in) 7mm deep. *Fire place is made of 1.10mm (0.045 in, thicker than advertised) and all ends are folded. Excellent hinges too. Bottom opening to ash tray is 9.5cmx10cm therefore the ashtray can capture all falling debris *Coal bed is 17cmx17cm frame made with 5mm steel wire and the web 4 and 3mm steel, firmly welded and all edges smoothed out! *Grill is very spacious 34cmx35cm (exactly as described) again with 5mm perimeter supporting wires and 2.25mm inner steel wires. Hinges are solidly made only to open to 180 degrees, and locks up. I could place 2.5L camping cast iron kettle fully filled with water without noticing any stress on the hinges!!! Easily cook meals for two very hungry adults. I have and used a UCO regular (13 x 10 inch) fire pit, which I now consider useless, in quality, practicality) Yes this one is a Chinese company, Chinese brand and fully made in China for which I paid almost A$ 47.00 worth the money in comparison to useless UCO which cost me nearly A$ 100.00. MT-2 version is well designed and engineered, very practical, user friendly even though it has many components to assemble, well made using excellent quality thicker material. Came with a nicely made, including stitching (I think it is made of canvas) carry bag, brand logo too is well placed and well stitched without any lose ends. But sadly for such a well made item, it came in very cheap flimsy bubble wrap bags. I bought another which is on they way before the price goes up. I hope this company and brand name "CAMPINGMOON" will not disappear like many other excellent new Chinese start up companies have done before. This is very heavy, more than 3.5kg (much heavier than UCO regular) not to be carried in a backpack unless someone wants to. Again 5 stars all the way for this excellent product for A$ 46.66. Highly recommend without a hint of doubt.

Nice little BBQ, well engineered. Folds up nicely into a travel bag, which is provided. It has a stable base and can be moved while hot. Suitable for parties up to 10 participants.

We use this as a mini fire pit for burning wood when we sit out on the patio. When not in use it can be folded up and not take up space which was a problem with our old one. It's all stainless steel and is of a thick enough gauge that it feels sturdy and won't fall apart. It's easy to set up and you can cook on it if you have reasonable expectations. We have used it for hot dogs a few times with wood coals. It would likely work better with charcoal if you were serious about wanting to cook on it. It comes with a sturdy bag to stow it in and keep the soot from getting on other things.
