I would not use it for super detailed work but for clearing stuff it is solid. No complaints from a normal guy just trying to tame his yard. It gets the job done without drama.

EXTREMELY high quality machete. Excellent for trimming tall bloomed hay for our goats, as well a side trimming some of our rose hedges and lilac bushes. The guard is super quality and it is a VERY Bright orange - great for hunting safety as well. This will get plenty of use on my homestead; it has already saved me tons of time using side cutters and is still sharp as all heck.

Out of the box this is a serious blade. I used it to limb some small trees I took down and it worked great. Not disappointed at all.

Came bent, not a great initial sign. Okay weight, fairly sharp though could be much sharper. Sheath is just loose cover for the blade with no attachment points, so you'll need to wrap it. Steel quality is someone suspect. Grip: comfy handle that handles shock well, though it's very unbalanced and little weird to swing. Size: Good length.
