The magnet on this product has got to be the strongest magnet I've seen for this use. The ball fits snug so putting it together might be a little challenging at first but the result is it will not wiggle free and there is ample friction to hold up an iPhone Max of any flavor. The design is pretty perfect, coming with a nice system of closing fingers that will hold the vent blade from behind without crushing or pulling- this shouldn't break your vent. The material is a good hard but not brittle polymer with metal reinforcement where needed. For this modest price, this has been the best unit I've received yet- and I've bought a lot of these types of mounts over the years!

Fits perfect on my 2017 Ford F150 dash vents; screws on tight! Works with Magsafe cases AND comes with two stick-on magnetic rings for those with without rings embedded in the case! Very well thought out; quality. I WAS afraid to purchase because of crappy loose, low quality spring mounts i tried before, not with this case!

Purchased 4/2023 still using in 1/2026. This thing has been a lifesaver! It has fit on most cars I’ve used on. Had a rental that it didn’t really fit the vent. So it might not stay on all vents. On a Subaru, I had to mount on side vents. On BMW, worked fine on middle vents. So check various vents before giving up. Magnet is strong. Can use with case (not with wallet case). When removing phone from magnet, lift phone at an angle, and not pull straight back. You’ll more likely damage the clamp and/or vent because the magnet is so strong. My only complaint is that the ball joint tends to “stick” after staying in one position for a while. I have to remove from vent to rotate it around if I need to change angle. I plan to add some WD40. But other than that, I love it!

Nicely made unit. Strong magnet as advertised. Easy to install in a minute. My only wish is if it had a built in capacitance charger it would be perfect.

So nice and makes it look nicer than something glued to my dash. Easy to remove and install. Holds my phone tight. It comes with mag strips so you don’t have to worry about buying any.

Great quality product. The only thing I had to do was to grind down some of the plastic so that it would fit the Venza vents. Very secure and very well-made. I would absolutely recommend this.
