Apply on wet lawn!
This stuff won't work unless the lawn is wet, then it will stick to weed leaves and kill them. Application on a dry lawn will not work well. There was a rain the night before I applied it. The lawn was not soaking wet, but was very moist between the grass blades. Dandelions are dying and hope to see crabgrass die off soon. You use about half the amount of this for the same application area as Scotts, so you have to be sure you have good even coverage to kill the weeds. Also, dandelions become zombie weeds, still sending out flowers and gobs of seeds even though they are near dead!

It works, it really, really works!!!
I'm not going to ask you to trust me, just hear me out. I've spent the last 14 years trying to correct/eradicate weeds in a yard that was neglected by the previous owner for 50 years, it's been a struggle. I've literally spent 10s of thousands of $$$ over that time on various weed killers, seed, and water on the yard (~¾ acre). This product however, hit different in all the right ways. It wiped out pesky areas of clover, annihilated ground ivy (creeping Charlie), dandelions, and whatever cabbage looking stuff I usually see this time of year. Crabgrass is nearly nonexistent, the limited amount I see is most likely from application limitations. Yes, it stinks a little after application, be happy, that means you got the good stuff! Timing of application is critical!!!! DO NOT APPLY TO A DRY LAWN!!! For the best results, apply in morning while the yard is dew soaked, followed by rain/irrigation, provided you can reasonably expect no rain the next 24 hours in either scenario. Buy it in advance to have on hand when prime conditions present themselves, be patient, but be ready to seize the moment when it presents itself, it will pay dividends! The nitrogen provided a decent greening, though after 5 weeks, another feeding might be needed. Coverage was a little less than advertised, but 3 bags were sufficient for ¾ acre with rotary spreader. Don't expect a one and done solution for heavily infested yards, it may take multiple applications over multiple seasons to achieve a weed free yard, just like Rome wasn't built in a day. I'd give this product 11/5⭐️s, 'cause it's twice as good as anything else out there.

Good on grass not so much on weeds
Everywhere I used it saw the grass grow better, although it did not fight some weeds effectively

Works just like it says — lawn looks thicker, greener, and weed-free
I held off on reviewing this product until I gave it time to work — and I’m glad I did. I followed the instructions and started seeing noticeable changes right around the two-week mark, just like the bag said. Before applying it, my yard had a mix of dandelions, crabgrass, and bare patches that made it look messy. I don’t have a before picture, but trust me — it wasn’t pretty. Since using BioAdvanced 5-in-1, my lawn has transformed. It’s now green, thick, and healthy-looking, and the weeds are gone. What really makes me happy is the curb appeal — my house sits on a corner lot with a stop sign, so people see my yard constantly. Now it stands out in a good way and really adds to the look of the neighborhood. This stuff delivered exactly what I needed. Just give it a little time, follow the instructions, and it works.

Weed Prevention/Yes, Promoting Growth & Green-up/No
Used this product for the last 2 years with mixed results. Since weeds are typically not as big of a problem in zoysia lawns to begin with, this product has predictably done very well when it comes to weed & crabgrass prevention. Almost zero weeds or even crabgrass even though I'm surrounded by untreated neighboring lawns. However, my results as far as green-up & growth promotion & overall health of my lawn have been poor. Lawn has been ravaged by dollar spot/brown patch in each of the last 2 seasons. With such a short growing season, the dead spots don't have much time to regenerate before time's up on the growing season. Last year, after a liquid fungicide stopped the problem, there was only time for about 1/2 of the damage to recover. To tell the truth, I regret ever going with zoysia grass to begin with (now about 10 years ago) It was billed as low maintenance & has proven to be anything but that. Now, faced with the nightmare scenario of removing it with it's ridiculous root system, that's just not an option for a 68 YO man.

Don't know if I got a bad bag but...
I don't know if I received a defective batch or not but, it only worked in spots and seemed to only kill dandelions and sadly, not all of them. I applied the product to my yard, following the directions to the letter. From mowing my lawn first, to using my spreader and spreading around the perimeter of my yard and then spreading in a grid pattern across the yard. I planned it spreading it when there was no rain for the next 2 days. There were no windy conditions. The temperatures have been in the 60s and 70s. And having used Scott's for the past couple of years, also following directions to the letter and having complete success, I'm no amateur at using these products. However, the results of using this bag were absolutely disappointing. A week after application and the only weeds killed have been some of the dandelions. And it's certainly not preventing anything because there are new dandelions popping up next to dead ones. As far as the other weeds around the dandelions, they are thriving and not bothered at all. So the end result has been that I have wasted money and my time using this product. Now, I will have to spend more money and purchase some turf builder and spend more time spreading it. And as for getting a refund, it seems it would be easier to get a new kidney. I definitely don't recommend this product unless you have the money and time to gamble with. Who knows you may get a bag that works and actually kills your weeds?

Good option for the summer
The best product on the market! I have Tall fescue in my back yard which gets a lot of weeds. Since it's in the back yard, I wanted something cost effective instead of following the Scott's plan. This is a great product, its best to buy the big back as it can be more cost effective
