The sales pitch on the dash cam barely mentions this chip....at the bottom of the dissertation, and says NOTHING about that you NEED it to save recorded incidents on your camera......Once you get the camera set, the instructions tell you to install the chip.....which you then have to order for $50....!! Maybe, if one is well versed in such products, you might know you need this.....but for us technology bozo's, it comes as a surprise ! Please update the sales information to include the actual need for the CD chip.... As it is, it is very misleading.

One look into the different technologies of Micro SD cards and you can be left scratching your head and emptying your wallet. Cheaper is most certainly not better, there is a lot more to all this. So the most straightforward answer for the Vantrue N4 Dashcam was to simply buy the Micro SD they have tested themselves. And frankly, I'm happy with the results because Dashcom Micro SD cards work harder than just about any other form of recording. Great product and not too bad a price either
