Buy it
This is my absolute favorite matcha hands down. I love making matcha lattes every morning and this one tastes the best. The profile is very umami and grassy and I find that milk or oat milk only helps make the profile stronger, not more diluted. It is pretty expensive but I think it is worth the price considering that this could last me probably 2-3 months, and buying a matcha nowadays costs like $7-8 a drink. The color is absolutely beautiful and there is always a silky glossy microfoam after using my matcha whisk. Definitely recommend.

Nice quality product.
Very nice product. Well packaged and really high quality. When you open the box. There is a sealed bag with the matcha powder. So the product is staying fresh until opening. We carefully and slowly moved the powder into the box itself and it filled up 3/4 of the box. The matcha has a soft and refined smell and dissolve well in water or milk. The taste is strong but not overpowering. Great quality

Really great matcha at a price that isn’t a budget buster
Really great matcha at a price that isn’t a budget buster. I was using another brand that, to be honest, I was very pleased with. The reviews that I read and the reasonable price meant I had to try it. First off, for those who are using matcha to flavor lattes and smoothies or baking, this tea house edition isn’t what you’re looking for. That would be like using 21 year old Glenlivet to flavor a stew. I’m sure that Jade Leaf sells a product that would suit that nicely. The flavor of this (the tea house version ) is delicate, not at all bitter. The effects of the caffeine and l-theanine are obvious within 15 minutes. Also it holds suspension well and doesn’t settle out as quickly as other brands I’ve tried. My new favorite matcha. I bought the 100 g tin which made the price even more appealing.

I honestly don't know, but I like it
I had to give this product 4 stars because I was frankly impressed with the quality. Problem is, I'm a terrible person to be calling myself an expert, despite the fact I've been drinking matcha daily for years now. Probably because I blend it with milk and honey or maple syrup before dumping boiling water into the mix. I like it sweet and foamy, and I couldn't care less how anyone else thinks it needs to be done. I drink it because I need a stimulant with high levels of theanine. Matcha is so good I can drink it any time of day without feeling like it's ruining my life the way coffee does. I have a genetic issue that makes caffeine really difficult to use, and other problems that make stimulants necessary for me to function at a neurotypical level. When I got this product it looked very good to me, a darker green with some luminescence, better than the last package I ordered from another company, which just looked pale and dead. There was some effort in the packaging, although these tins are not airtight, not even water tight, but the matcha comes sealed in a bag inside the tin, and I'm using this up before it gets old. So I'm doing the hard work by describing my experience, but honestly I don't like the flavor of most herbs and don't care to get that up close and personal with the flavor. I do worry about radiation and I might download a radiation sensing app for my phone (yes there is such a thing, the hardware is built in already if you have a camera). Japan is covered with radiation thanks to you know what, so better to do my own analysis than trust a lab. But otherwise, this looks to me like a good quality product and I will probably order it again, until I don't. It's a little pricey, but I've seen a lot worse, and there's enough love going into marketing that I'm convinced they aren't sweeping it up off of a floor or street somewhere. I'll let you know if I change my mind.

I like it! Nice packaging & good taste!
I cannot compare this to any other matcha, but I chose it after reading reviews of multiple options. I have never drunk it, but I had read about its benefits and wanted to try it. The price seemed a bit high, but it was in line with all the others of this quality. I am thankful I had read other reviews, so I knew to open it carefully to avoid spilling it. I braced myself, because some people complained of a bitter taste of different varieties. I guess earthy would be the best way to describe it, and I believe I will come to enjoy it after regular drinking. It might be a little more palatable with sweetener, but I am choosing to drink it plain, with water. I hope I experience at least several of the health benefits that it is supposed to give. The tin and its label are very attractive, the box would lend it itself to easy wrapping for a gift, and delivery was quick. I am very pleased!

Great flavor, mixes well
This matcha tea powder is excellent! The flavor is smooth and rich, and it mixes really well without clumping. I love that it’s organic, and it has quickly become my favorite out of all the brands I’ve tried. The price is also very reasonable for the quality you get. Highly recommend

Love this matcha powder, but very sad that they don’t always have the larger can in stock

I really had high hopes on this based on other reviews but at this price point, there are other matchas that taste waaay better. I purchased a different one for half the price on Amazon that also tasted better than this. I won't be purchasing again unfortunately

It’s alright matcha. I compared side by side mid tier matcha from Senchado Tokyo. Jade leaf matcha is very dark green, bitter, grassy. Lacks umami, freshness and sweetness. It’s fine if you drink with milk and sugar. But I prefer drinking it, right after frothing

You get what you pay for with this Matcha. I've tried quite a few different brands of Matcha at different price points, and I'd say this is one of the better ones. I personally drink Matcha for the health benefits, not for the taste, but I've come to enjoy it nonetheless. Most days I just mix it in with a spoon in some hot water. I don't mind the sediments at the bottom of the cup, I just gulp it down. Can be drank in cold water too. If you dont want sediments, you might want to look up how to make Matcha tea the traditionial way with a bamboo whisk or a frother, after straining it. That does actually improve the taste and the texture, but I only do that when I have visit and if they want to try some Matcha tea :)

Overall, Matcha is amazing. However, I noticed that packaging design isn’t amazing as upon opening the matcha get exposed to air and gradually degrade its quality. The froth formation deplete as well. , I have to keep my matcha in seal aluminum foil cause of this reason as container isn’t adequate. This leads to quality and time cost. Meaning the Mean time before Matcha expires upon opening seal package has significant cost implications. Thereby I am rating overall as three star.
