Premium Duck and Swan Food, 3 Litre

Bit smaller than the pellets I normally use but absolutely fine. I’m in waterfowl rescue so normally buy bigger sacks but as a stop gap these worked. I use for my swans mainly as they float on the water and swans love them. Geese and ducks do too and normally mob the swans to get in on the action.

Convenient container, great for the little ones to grab and throw. Safe for the ducks and swans on the lake as, according to the signs around the lake and canal, bread is no longer advised.

due to the largish size of these pellets and their light weight, they do float well on water. They seemed to be well received by the birds in general, but I did notice on occasions some ducks seemed to struggle a bit swallowing it, so have decided not to buy again. I have tried another brand with smaller pellets, but not all of them float, so it looks like a case of using trial and error to get the right ones.

Habe den Eimer geholt um mit den Kindern die Schwäne am Fluss zu füttern. Sie essen es gerne... Auch die Enten haben es gegessen.

Ich habe das Entenfutter als Alternative zum Brot gekauft. Voller Freude sind wir zu unserem See gegangen wo sich die Enten tummeln. Da haben wir dann eine Handvoll von dem Futter ins Wasser geworfen, woraufhin auch die Enten angeschwommen kamen und sich auf die Drops gestürzt haben. Diese haben sie jedoch gleich wieder ausgespuckt und nicht mehr angerührt. Fazit, ein Fehlkauf.
