Works great - more energy, seems to help in going the extra mile, give that extra push beyond what you’ve done before in the weight room. Yes, it smells terrible when you open the jar, but it doesn’t translate to taste, and there’s no aftertaste or burps, so it’s better than fish oil pills or anything like that. Would recommend.

I picked up these Muscletech HMB softgels to help with recovery and muscle growth during my workouts. I’m an advanced lifter and was stacking this with creatine and other supplements (protein, BCAAs, etc.), so it’s tough to isolate the effects, but I did notice my recovery time seemed better and I felt less sore after intense sessions. That matches up with what I’ve read, there’s medical evidence that HMB can help with recovery and protein synthesis, and it’s sometimes recommended for preventing muscle wasting as well. As for big muscle gains, I honestly didn’t see a huge difference. Maybe you’d notice more if you took it for a year or two, but in my experience (and at my training level), it wasn’t a miracle worker for muscle growth. Could be I’m just at a plateau, or it could be diet, but if you’re looking for a magic pill, this probably isn’t it. The pills are softgels, easy to swallow, but have a slightly odd taste and texture. None arrived broken (which can happen with liquid softgels). No stomach upset or other issues. Bottom line: I’m giving this three stars because I did feel it helped with recovery, but didn’t notice major gains in muscle mass. If you’re stacking supplements and want something that may help speed up recovery and prevent muscle loss, HMB is worth a try, but don’t expect overnight results.

10年ぐらい前のクリアマッスルは1日2回3錠ずつの計6錠飲むタイプでしたが、1日3回1錠ずつになりました その分新しいものはカプセルが大きいですが、飲みやすくするためにカプセルの材質をリニューアルしています 昔のものはすぐ溶けるカプセルを使用していたので水に濡れるとペタッとくっつきやすく 飲む際に喉に張り付いて、そのまま溶けてBetaTORで喉が焼けるほど痛くなることが往々にしてありました が、現在のものは濡れてもサラッとしていて喉で引っかかることなく、すぐ胃に流れます 言うまでもなく喉で割れるより胃で溶けてくれた方が吸収スピードは良いですから、カプセルの材質が変わったのは大きいですね あと成分自体は昔から変わってないと思いますが、飲む回数が増えたからなのか 昔のものより効果が実感しやすくなったと思います とても良いです
