This Load Tester does a good job. The clamps jaws are a bit bulky for some battery locations and size of lugs. But, with a bit of moving about You can get them to clamp on smallish battery terminals too.

Used this to start my 4040 JD tractor with poor starter and not so good batteries ,did suck the life out of it and did need a recharge afterward but it did the job . Also used to start my CAT backhoe with bad battery ,starts a gas pickup no problem at all . Would rather have the cables hard wired to the unit instead of the two prong connector and cables could be a little longer . For the price I was very pleased .

Armor solid construction -I have 30 yr old battery charging equipment from this company --still works like the day I bought it. I did not have a load tester until now -- tests alternator's ability to charge battery, health of battery's ability to supply load -- much more than any multitester can safely do.

I bought this tester to test a AGM Everstart battery that Walmart would not take back with less than six months after purchase on a four year warranty because they use their test equipment and this tester proved the battery in question was no good with a bad cell the dial reading is far better than a digital meter and when you use the test load application it clearly shows the state of your battery, extremely pleased with this tester.

While it works though somewhat difficult to read in ten seconds, the springs on the clamps are too strong. The ends of the clamps for the battery terminals therefore twist out of shape making it difficult to clamp.

Old School Unit Works Great, probably still work when I'm gone.

Me llego con un detalle estetico la base donde asienta el probador, estaba chueca, se ve que algo pesado doblo la base. Fuera de ese detalle hace muy bien su función paso la primera prueba esperemos que siga funcionando bien
