Not a Frozen Margarita Fan…Until I Met Lt. Blender’s!
As I get ready to place another order I realize I have ordered this item 13 previous times and must write a review! I prefer ‘on the rocks’ when it comes to margaritas. After many awful frozen margaritas I rarely drank frozen margaritas realizing I don’t care for most margarita mixes as they are too sweet or just don’t taste good. I was shopping in a boutique one day and stumbled upon Lt Blender’s regular and lite margarita mixes. I was leaving for the Texas coast a few days later and decided to give it a try since it would be an easy option for the beach. It was not only easy, but tasty and refreshing! Needless to say, I am a believer! I scale back slightly on the alcohol and add 6 oz. (instead of 7 oz.) of Cointreau and 12 oz. (instead of 13 oz.) of 1800 tequila. I know it’s not a significant reduction, but I prefer the taste with a tad less alcohol. Also, I add approx. 2 cups of warm water to dissolve the mix before adding the alcohol and never have chunks or clumping issues other reviewers report. I love Lt. Blender’s and almost always receive my order the next day thanks to this Texas business! I LOVE this product and recommend you give it a try too!

Triple Sec Badges and Bags O MY...
Triple Sec!? We don't need no stinken Triple Sec! We just add tequila to the triple sec line. The Lt Blenders rep who introduced this to us at Sam's Club told us that's what he does. (bless that man who ever he is) Absolutely fantastic Margarita! We love it so much that we can't wait more than an hour for them to thaw and end up squeezing it out of the bag like a slushy. :) No one has refused a refill of this.. We don't drink a lot, but for more than a year now, we have always kept a bag in the freezer... uh... just in case... we might drink a lot. :) The bad reviews here crack me up. One reviewer said a bag started leaking, the other because they didn't add liquor, or because (wait for it) the mix freezes solid! (especially if your adding whatever triple sec is) uh it's a bag placed in a freeeezeerr.. Yeah you gotta wait an hour or two to drink one... We have made it and served over crushed ice (just as good) when our refined wine visitors threaten to trash the place for more. I have received bags where the powder was clumped or the lid was hard to open... but it didn't stop us!!!! Sometimes, you have to be smarter than the bag that's in the freeeezzzeer...

Tasty! Very good for a party or just being thirsty.
Pretty easy to use. I'd recommend starting with maybe a cup of warmer water to get the powder mixed up real well. I didn't do that the first time and had a bot of mix left in the bottom part way through. All in all I really liked it and will buy again!

Margaritas in a bag
This margarita mix in a bag… could be “dangerous “ it’s that good. You add tequila and triple sec. Or you can make it with water for a nonalcoholic beverage.

my all time favorite!
very hard to find Margarita in a Bag around here unless it's the small bags, which are hardly even worth it! the single and solitary only downside to MIB's (my coined nickname for my favorite drink) is that they are very hard to open. husband had to use pliers last time, but that's not always the case. and once frozen it's impossible to get the beverage out. my trick is to freeze it and then literally cut the entire top off and scoop out with a spoon. product is great, but packaging could use some serious improvements. UPDATED 7/20/2013 i actually haven't had one of these in a long time based on the fact that i took a gander at the sugar and carb figures....it's a mind blow. they are good, but in very, very limited doses. i still love my MIB's, however, i have had to move on in an effort to cut some of that sugar out of my diet. it would be nice to see a lighter MIB, but let's be honest....most of those just don't taste the same or even worthy. so enjoy the MIB's, but be mindful of the sugars b/c they do NOT do a body good.

Too sweet
Great for kayaking trips, etc but it was a bit too sweet for my taste. But, I'm a purist. I like a real margarita with tequila, triple sec, lime juice and a salty rim. If you like a super sweet drink, you may love it. Period. IMHO, add some fresh lime juice and they are okay.
