If you want a fast noninvasive way to take temperatures, this is a good choice. If you think you can get as reliable results of someone's internal temp by measuing a small patch of external skin as you would with an internal probe (or at least inside the ear), you're kidding yourself -- get yourself a rectal thermometer. This thing works (I own a diagnostic IR scanner for other purposes that I can compare results with) -- but where and how you choose to do the measurement affects results. I haven't had a thermometer in decades and this helped me realize why not. You don't need a thermometer to know if someone's temp is normal, slightly elevated, hot, or scorching -- and if you can make those distinctions, the precise number is unimportant. At the same time, I like the simplicity and find it useful. Read the instructions and think about how it actually works for best results

This thermometer is easy to use, the display screen is easy to read the temperature, it uses colors to show temperature levels. It seems to be pretty quick and accurate. Batteries were included with my purchase and I’m hoping it will last for a while before changing batteries. This is easier than using the old thermometers that go under the tounge, you just point to the forehead and press the button. It shows the temperature within seconds. I’m happy with my purchase.

This thermometer is great! We’ve always had the traditional ones that go in the mouth and they took forever to register the temp. This reads the temp as soon as you press the button. I checked it multiple times with the oral thermometer and they were always exactly the same.its easy to use. Love it.

Worked as advertised. At first I had issues with getting a correct reading, but I was not holding the device close enough… Reading the directions helps ;D!

So far, this thermometer works well. I used it a few times after purchase and it seems to be very accurate. Easy to set up and understand the directions. Beep is pretty quiet, too. The light is very good and the numbers are easy to read. Trigger is easy to press and it fits snuggly in my hand. It is a lightweight unit. Manual is very informative. I am impressed with this thermometer. Definitely recommend.
