I’m really impressed with the Aquasana Filtered Shower Head! The flow rate gives me great water pressure, and the up flow design makes sure the water flows smoothly without clogging. (I did have to put plumbers tape on where you attach it, as it leaks a tiny bit, but overall I really enjoy this and think it was a good purchase). What really stands out for me is how it’s helped with the itching I used to feel after showering with regular water. The carbon and copper-zinc says it filters out over 90% of chlorine, and I’ve noticed a big difference in my skin, and it’s much less dry and irritated. That's a huge win for me!! Showering with it is honestly a pleasure. My skin feels softer, and my hair doesn't feel like it has buildup on it anymore. The filter lasts up to 6 months or 10,000 gallons they say, and replacing it is super easy. Installation was easy, and it only took about 10 minutes minutes to set up. (that includes adding the extra plumbers tape too). Overall, I’m really happy with this. I've used it every day for 3 months, and it works good for me. If you’re looking for something to improve your skin and hair, this is definitely worth trying!

It's easy to install. Water pressure is still the same. Helps with my eczema as I'm not flaring that much anymore every after shower.

This is a pretty good shower head if you like me don't own your own home and/or can't afford to buy a whole house system. I've been using this for a couple of months now and it seems to work pretty well. The unit is made of cheap plastic and the silver shower head/hose is plastic with metal coating. I'm waiting to see how that "metal" finish holds up. Overall I like the showerhead itself, but would like a bit harder shower pressure but I can deal with it.

Buyer beware! After several weeks of research I decided to buy the Aquasana shower head & filter… because I did not want to replace my shower head every 6 months. I was told I could just change out the filter. Perfect! Easy! Saves this single mom a $65 plumbers bill every 6 months to change the shower head. Well, it’s been 6 months… got my new filter. The instructions say…. Remove entire filter from wall & shower head. It has to be flushed to change the filter. So, not only is this filter an eye soar & leaky (which I was willing to overlook for my hair), now I have to remove it like all the other filtered shower heads? I could have saved money knowing this. This is not better than anything else on the market you need to change every 6 months. Don’t waste your time or money. Theres got to be a company that allows you to change just the filter and not take the shower head completely off every 6 months. Ridiculous. I wish I could send the shower head back, but it’s too late. I will be returning the new filter and looking for something better.

Filter setup is solid, went on easily and I have no leaks. Hand sprayer is plastic and feels “cheap” but works very well and I cannot complain about its functionality. My understanding is that this does not remove the ammonia part of chloromines, but the chlorine smell is gone and the water doesn’t dry out my skin as bad so it’s definitely an improvement. I spent hours trying to find the “perfect” filter system and everything had some kind of compromise. This was the best overall option I could find in this price range and I am happy with my purchase.

Best shower filter! It was very easy to install, just followed the instructions. No leakage, no problem with the water pressure, just perfect! I was very nervous about it, because my first attempt with a shower filter from Amazon was 3 years ago, and it was a disaster, lost water pressure by day 2. Not with this one! I was over the moon happy with how well this filter works. And filtered water is the best, it feels immediately softer, and my hair and my skin don’t get dry from the chlorine anymore.

So the thing tends to leak a lot. Leaks from the white filter as well as from the shower head. It’s not that bad! But I can see how this can bother someone. I tried and tried to tighten the filter to no avail. You will get a constant drip every minute or so. The shower head is the same deal. I can’t seem to figure out a fix. Other than that, for what we needed it for, it works like magic! We just moved to Indiana where the water might as well be calcium. The water was so hard before that my wife started to develop hives from it. This little gem has made her life livable when showering. She absolutely loves it. Thus, making the leaks tolerable. We will be acquire a whole house filtering system but this definitely worked as a temporary solution.

Lets start with the dislikes I bought this because i work out of town alot. In work camps for oil n gas and the camps have a crazy amount of chlorine in the water and it drues my skin out bad. So here are pros and cons 1. The showers have room to stand up only so the shower head doesnt point down far enough (the filter blocks it) 2.when turning on the water for the shower water squirts out where the filter attaches to the shower head. 3. The filter helps with the chlorine buti dont think it removes the amount it says it can. After 14 days in camp my skid is flakie even using skin cream. The good things i like are 1. Its easy to install 2. Protable 3.it doesnt seem to lower the pressure of the water. 4. The head is very light and easy to use. This unit may be great for regular home use for those who dont have water softeners where the chlorine levels are lower. Hope this helps

Made a difference in the water quality, as judged by my hair and skin. Water flow (pressure) was slightly reduced but still acceptable. Big problem though: it's very heavy. It actually broke my pipe (old house) and I had to call a plumber to fix my pipe. I returned the filter because I just can't use it with our plumbing.

I got this for my partner who wanted softer water in our condo unit. I think its working? Already replaced the filter a few times, but honestly I dont notice the difference haha. She's not complaining though so I guess its good. Massive pain to install, kept leaking. Had to remove and reapply plumbing tape at least 6-8 times before it finally stopped. But I'm hardly what you would call a handy man. So maybe its just me. (install time 2-3h)
