Update to my original review below: My Amagabeli fireplace screen is still looking great. I'm updating my review because one thing I didn't consider when I purchased it was how easy it is to clean. I have the screen sitting on my fireplace hearth, which is made of slate and looks dusty five minutes after I clean it. But this fireplace screen never looks dusty, thanks to the color and the finish. When I do clean it, it is very easy to carry out to the patio where I brush it with a soft bristle dustpan brush. Since the screen is so sturdy and well made, it only takes a couple of minutes and it is as good as new. I am really glad I purchased this screen. Original Review in January 2016: I was impressed with the quality of this screen. It is sturdy but not too heavy to easily move. The height of the area that is mesh covered is 22.75 inches and the top part with the leaf design is 6.5 inches at its highest point, which is perfect for my fireplace. Each of the side panels is 12 inches across and the center screen is 26 inches across. My old fireplace screen had mesh all the way to the top, so it was harder to pick up and move. With this screen, you can grab the top piece and move it easily. The product name says it is black but the product description says it is antique silver. It looks more black to me but when the sun shines on it (particularly the leaves), you do see the dark silver finish. The leaf design and scroll work were nicely done and not flimsy. I am glad I bought this screen, it is higher quality than screens I saw in discount stores and the price was better. I was also very impressed with the seller. The day the screen was scheduled for delivery, I received an email from Amagabeli asking me to confirm that I received the screen in good condition and to let them know if I was not satisfied. I appreciated this level of customer service.

This fireplace screen is very pretty ! It is elegant and the gold trim really makes it stand out rather than being some screen that adds no beauty to the fireplace (or take away as my last one did) ! I was concerned that it would be not wide enough or tall enough but in fact it was more in height and width than my old one ! I was very surprised at how light weight it is. I once again was concerned that it could be something that fell easily . Then yesterday night my spouse called for me, saying a log had fell out and it was a good sized one too ! Now that happens only once or twice a year and its my fault for stacking logs too high but the screen held it perfect ! I will admit I said to myself, "well I do not have to worry about the screen moving if a log rolls out !" Before I bought this I looked at the other helpful reviews and I noticed that some of the best looking ones had the fireplace cleaning tools etc. with some gold color on it ! I thought that looked fabulous and I intend to do that myself. I am very impressed with the quality and the price this seller has for now my second item from them! I am hoping they too may carry some inexpensive fire tools (shovel-brush-poker etc) that would look nice with this screen ! So yes it is beautiful and it really helps my fireplace look a bit classier ! I still am proud I found it at this price. Bought this for a prefab fireplace after the factory installed screen allowed popping embers to fly through and burn a rug and a futon more than ten feet away. I was looking for an inexpensive yet expedient solution, and this appears to be it. Being a pre-fab fireplace, the place where the fire burns is raised up higher than the hearth, so I made sure this screen was wider and taller than the fireplace opening, and I left off the screen's rear legs. The front legs keep the screen from falling forward, while the screen's back rests against the metal frame of the fireplace. I may in time bolt the screen to the fireplace or use some other fastening solution to make it more steady. With about an inch overlap of screen over the fireplace frame on the sides, and several inches at the top, it seems steady enough to use as is. Even the best oak firewood sometimes pops (I burn oak almost exclusively). Tried out the screen with a fire, and while there was some popping, nothing penetrated this screen's mesh screen. I would have preferred a screen with more squarish features to sync better with my fireplace, but even with the rounded top, the screen looks okay resting against the fireplace metal (which is the same color). The screen seems well made, and I put it together in about five minutes using only a Philips head screw driver. Very pleased consider how little money was spent on this screen compared to what others are priced at.

Got this to replace a free standing screen that was constantly falling down. This one was easy to assemble (just had to add the legs and handles), is very sturdy, doesn’t tip over, and the door area is big enough you can get in and out of the fireplace without actually moving the screen! The screen itself has very small holes so Popping embers do not go through onto your floor. The design is also simple yet elegant and adds a nice touch.
