The first photo is just after washing and styling, the second is over 12 hours later. Inbetween these photos, I’ve had a nap, I’ve worn a hat, I’ve had over-head headphones on for hours - it keeps its shape and allows for easy restyling! I don’t think I’ve ever reviewed hair product so quickly after receiving it! Have tried so many different hair gels, waxes and clay over the years and some are better than others - this Gatsby, however, wins the hair battle! I have thick, straight hair so styling upwards is always a challenge! After a short while, the hold with other products would drop - and I would end up looking like a 2003 emo child with a flat fringe and no lift. I’d previously had to keep re-adding and applying product, as well as hair spray. With the Gatsby, this is no longer an issue! I’ve been out on full days with it and it just works - holds and maintains my style and doesn’t miss a beat. Wind? No problem. Hats and hoodies? No problem! A quick push with my fingers and it’s back to shape. Texture wise it’s slightly creamy, but leaves a nice matt and natural finish. I would recommend applying a little hair oil first to avoid drying out, too. You don’t need too much, either, literally as small pea sized amount goes a long way. Was really weary about trying a new brand, but this has made a huge difference to my hair and my confidence, too. Worth giving a go! It is expensive, but it will last as you’re not using much and no need to keep re-applying.

I would recommend always using this with bone dry hair and start small with the wax and build up as needed. For washing, I would wash your hair out twice.

普段ヘアオイルをつけるぐらいであまりセットはしないのですが、短髪にしたのを機に物は試しにと使用してみました。 少量でしっかりまとまりとてもいい感じです。マットな感じも非常に気にいっています。気まぐれに髪を伸ばすので、現在はセンターパートで耳にかかるぐらいの長さになっていますが、その長さでも少し形を整えたいときにはいい感じでまとまります。シャンプーでの落ちも悪くないと思いますので、値段を考えると非常にいい商品だと思います。

Holds firm in the hair with a semi wet look. Smells nice and water soluble too so easy to wash out if you need. Great product
