Ignore the message about no Verizon sim
When you first turn the v60 on, it says there is no Verizon sim installed. Just ignore it and use your sim. I am using it with simple mobile because they require voice over LTE. The phone is nice. Real fast and I was able go copy over my data from my old LG phone

A problem, but not due to anything the seller did.
The manufacturer of the phone, lg, apparently got out of the smartphone market back in 2021. In and of itself that would not be a problem. However, on December 29, 2023, they deactivated a piece of software named LG Mobile Switch, which was intended to allow a person to easily transfer his old phone's contents to his LG phone. This meant that it is apparently very difficult to activate this phone. I believe the seller of this phone should take cognizance of the deactivation of ' LG Mobile switch' and figure out how a customer can readily move his old phone'sdata to the LG phone. In addition, this phone did not have support for the Galileo or Beidou gnss constellations, despite material on the web claiming it had these features. Not the seller's fault, but it completely impacted the reason I bought this phone.

Looked Like New
They sent me a phone that didn't work (No fault of theirs) They sent me another phone and there was a shipping label with the new phone for shipping the other phone back. The new phone worked and looked new. They trusted me to send the other phone back. Never been treated that well online. They are AWESOME!

Not unlocked
Not unlocked received a TMobile version and it would not transfer all my data via the factory LG switch app. Sent it back promptly. We'll try again.

Not Ready for Flagship Status
I wanted to like this phone. It has great specs with the 3.5mm jack, expandable storage, large battery, 5G, and decent design. The problems piled up though. I tried it on both Verizon and Tmobile, comparing reception with my 1+8 pro and Pixel 3XL. I have a Tmobile 5G tower in sight and the 1+ got full bars at the facing window, the V60 couldn't get a signal. On 4G LTE, both the 1+ and Pixel got 3 - 4 bars where the V60 got 0 - 1 and at times switched to 3G or 1X on Verizon. Additionally, the phone bagan to lag as I installed about 15 apps - my normal load on both the 1+ and Pixel. On leaving an app, the screen would blank for a second or two before showing the home screen. Finally, the UI, while much improved over my old V35, is limiting compared to Android 10 in pure form, which it is based on. Software updates? Several months lag for security and Android 11 is out of sight.

Would Not Work with TMobile or AT&T
This was an upgrade from the LG V20 I still have and will go back to. This was a Verizon branded phone and that was fine as I am currently using a Verizon MVNO and it work well, 5G service even though the seller says they don't offer it. Battery Life was good. I thought the sound quality using headphones was not as good as my V20. However, I need a phone that will work regardless of the underlying carrier. I tried out and ATT and TMobile MVNOs, both who say they service should work with this phone (via the IEMI). The AT&T sim would not work at all in the V60, but fine in my V20. The TMobile was limited to 3G or LESS (even though I get 4G service on my v20 using the same SIM). As a result, I am returning the phone and will baby my V20 as along as I can.
