Brilliant price for a bit of childhood back! Had one of these 20 years ago I think and to get another was a real treat. Great price and my eyes can still read it thankfully.

Very functional casio at a low price. Feels cheap due to all plastic case but the module for these watches is full of functions and well made. This type of watch is great for easy modification or personalisation and the low price means that you haven't destroyed an expensive watch if your attempts at modding go wrong.

I really like this watch and was glad I went for the grey bezel version which looks really good. The watch is quite easy to use to access all functions and setting the main/ local world times. I downloaded the PDF manual from the Casio website as it's easier to read than the printed one included but that's not a problem. You've also got to love the 10 year battery and my previous Casio with one of these lasted well beyond 10 years which I was quite surprised about.

I bought this with the bronze case, black plastic strap and I believe for once on first impressions the watch actually looks better in real life than in the pictures. OK so the case is resin not metal, but at the price you pay its a bargain. It looks complicated but 15 minutes with the manual and the watch is all set up with the world times etc. After that it's really easy to use. Pros: -Packed with great features (eg backlight can be adjusted to illuminate between 1 or 3 seconds) - Looks good on wrist - Price - Iconic watch (nod to a Seiko G757 worn by the legendary Roger Moore in Octopussy) Cons:- - For me personally I find the black plastic strap a little uncomfortable because it is either a tad too tight or too loose, as I must be between holes for perfect fit. I am swapping it out for a leather strap from Vario but intended to do that anyway. For most this probably wont be an issue. If it is consider buying the silver bracelet version instead. - Might be hard to see some functions if your eyesight is not the best. For instance the world map is tiny! In conclusion every watch collector should have a Casio 'Royale' in their collection. Just buy it!

For the price it is a solid watch, and a good size. Though I do recommend a more comfortable strap than the plastic one it has

Bought it for module inside and case back. I ordered SKX mod kit after watching U tube video how to do it, very easy to follow. You end up with steel watch and up graded strap, for around £130 more. £170 in total but the difference in quality is amazing. I know it's horses for courses but I think it was money well spent. Forgot to mention also comes with sapphire glass face instead of mineral which scratches a lot easier. Another thing I should mention is that it is useless as any form of wake up alarm, I set the alarm and had to hold to my ear to hear any sound at all. Suppose you can't have a ten battery life and a loud alarm?.

I really like the design of this watch and had one for several years, before purchasing it again 7 months ago. After 7 months from purchase, this watch resets while underwater, or with a simple shower. Pressing buttons underwater never occurred. It is a defect. It is a shame it cannot be returned. Happy to have it replaced and amend the review. Thanks.

I wanted a low cost digital watch that could be used every day whilst looking sleek and not offending the watch snobs out there, this ticks all the boxes! Firstly the watch is really really lightweight, less than 40 grams. Yet it feels constructed solidly, it’s made out of a resin type material (kind of feels 3D printed) so does not feel like it’ll break on impact. In fact I am very clumsy and have already slammed my wrist into multiple walls and doorways etc and the watch shows no sign of wear. Digital clock is very accurate and after a month or so it is only a few seconds ahead of the accurate time. Many many features and settings, too many to list in this review but things like multiple alarms, 100 meters water resistance, 48 time zones (really helpful for going abroad or if you have family and friends across the world), a bright yellow/orange illuminator light which works great in the dark as well as a handy stop watch/countdown timer. Honestly I will probably not ever use half of these features but really shows the attention to detail Casio put into their watches. I would take one of these over a “fashion” watch any day of the week! I had a cheap analog watch before this and never ever looked at it, if I wanted the time I would just check my phone, but I find myself genuinely using this all throughout the day and it’s been a really great addition to my day-to-day life.

Amazing watch. It's cheap, durable, functional, and entirely waterproof. Recommend using a high-polymer eraser to remove the "World Time" and "Illuminator" text around the bezel if you so wish. Should last the full 10 years of battery life.

Casio royal is always the best, using since a month and it is rugged, water proof and nice looking.
