Le Creuset Stainless Steel Splatter Guard, 12.25"

Over the years, I have purchased many spatter guards and they all ended up in the same place - the trash. They were either too flimsy and didn't hold their shape, or didn't really do much to stop oil splatters. This one is a keeper. The kind of quality product I have come to expect from Le Creuset. It is well made and heavy enough to stay on the pan; the silicon rim makes for a tight fit and assures no sliding around. Easy to keep clean and folding handle makes storage easy. Very pleased with this item and I would highly rcommend it for anyone who really wants to contain splattering oil. This one will do it! Meant to last a lifetime and worth every penny.

Bought this after yet another spatter guard fell apart. Decided to go for a better quality one. This is it. Very well made and durable. Fits well on a 12” or 10” fry pan, then throw in dishwasher to clean.

This is the best splash guard I have ever purchased. I love how the handle lifts up so you can easily move it around. Also love how it’s safe to use on my Le Crueset

It is big enough to over-cover our Le Creuset pans, which means its overhanging edges get a lot of heat applied from the gas burner when that heat flows up and around the pan. Nice to have the "rubber" surface that contacts the pan. VERY nice that the handle folds, as it is tough to fit in a dish drawer for washing otherwise (but still has to be laid at 45' angle, not propped upright like the plates in the tines) Works like any other splatter guard, which means only large splatter drops don't make it out of the pan. So I put a second splatter guard on top of it for better grease splatter control.

Extremely well made and dishwasher safe. But, I worry about the seal around the rim when in the dishwasher. Also if you use powder dishwasher soap, it sticks to the seal and leaves dried soap. So I prefer to hand wash. It does a great job of keeping the splatter from bacon from coating everything near the skillet. it fits skillets and cookware up to 12.25 inches

Exceptional performance. The fold-up handle makes it easy to store. Worth every penny.
