Nivea Shower Oil Natural Caring 200ml for Dry skin

I picked up this Nivea Shower Oil because my skin gets super dry in the winter, and I’m honestly impressed. It feels really gentle and creamy on the skin, and I don’t feel that tight, dry feeling after showering like I usually do. The scent is soft and pleasant—not overpowering—and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and moisturized for hours. I even skip lotion sometimes because my skin feels hydrated enough. The only tiny thing is that it can feel a little slippery in the shower if you use too much, but that’s easy to manage. Overall, it’s super gentle, nourishing, and smells really nice—definitely my new go-to shower oil.

I am normally not someone who is particular about body wash but I bought this because I wanted another brand's almond shower oil that was very expensive. I love almond scents. Nina Pool turned me on to this as an alternative. Now, it does not smell like almond at all – HOWEVER it is the most moisturizing thing I've ever put on my skin. I have severe KP and have tried all the KP-marketed scrubs and body washes, and none have worked well. THIS WORKS. It has noticeably improved my KP in just a few days. It makes your skin feel so soft and luxurious. Wish it was more readily available in the US! This will be all I'll use from now on.

I use this as part of my regular shower routine, especially when I want my skin to feel moisturized before applying lotion or fragrance. The oil lathers lightly and rinses clean without leaving a heavy or slippery residue, which I appreciate. It leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable, not tight or dry, and it works well as a base before layering other products. The scent is very light and neutral, so it doesn’t interfere with whatever lotion or fragrance I use afterward. This body wash is super hydrating and I love how my skin feels after I use it, but I hate how it smells. It has an odd, cheap hand soap smell that is really strong. I wish they offered this in other scents because it is a great and affordable oil body wash, but I can’t get past the scent.

This product works for me. It makes my skin feel moisturized and soft. I like the effectiveness of it. I don’t think it is too much to spend for how long it’s lasted that said I cannot get used to the smell. It stinks. It has an underlying smell of wet dog. I have tried to tell myself it’s just from clean ingredients but I can no longer use it. I have to find something else.

I purchased this shower oil because I saw an ad and my skin is drying in the coldest winter we’ve experienced in my area in many years. I looked for it in a local store and didn’t find it, so ordered here. The smell is extremely off-putting. I’m amazed about that, because I have used other Nivea products and never noticed weird smells. The bottle I got was manufactured in Hamburg, Germany (I’m in the eastern US). I wonder if maybe it was bad for this product to be transported a long way, perhaps in such severe cold? Or I could have gotten a bad batch, if that’s even a thing. I read reviews AFTER purchasing and trying, and it does seem like the weird smell is an often mentioned concern. As far as moisturizing ability, I do not think it’s helping any more than a good lotion that doesn’t smell bad. So I’m not even sure if it accomplishes its purpose anyway. If I ever see it in a store, I intent to pop the lid and take a sniff to figure out if that’s how the product is supposed to smell, or if I just got a bad bottle. I’d pass on this one, or smell it in person first to make your decision.

This is wonderful! I love the way it slides over my skin and moisturizers while cleaning. I have very dry skin, and it's worse in winter so it's great getting out of the shower and feeling clean and not like my skin is flaking from dryness. It only takes a small amount to cover a lot of skin. Highly recommend if you have dry skin or just want to feel pampered.

Bought this for the second time now, honestly it’s a staple in my shower routine. A little goes a long way and it lasts for ages. It’s very moisturising and not too heavily scented (nice subtle scent). Believe me when I say it’s really value for money compared to some of the expensive shower oils

This shower oil is light, leaves no sticky residue after use, and smells lovely!
